Booked ticket on the bus which drops you off right outside the stadium and ticket was "no queue" one.
Self-tour which was, for me, good as I could take my time and look at trophies, photos etc at my own pace.

Yep I’m a tourist and a hypocrite lol! Not quite as good as I expected but a fine stadium with very helpful staff and if you’re clever and walk 10 mins to a further metro station you get away very quickly.

Santiago Bernabéu zone is a little bit far away from the "traditional" historic and iconic tourist attractions of Madrid, but still only few metro stations away… It is true that it is a mix of business and residential area, still there are plenty things to visit, see, enjoy... Just opposite of the stadium You can find Palacio de Congresos, 70´s style building, decorated with ceramics with original design of Joan Miro. In front, the monument of Mahatma Gandhi can be found. A little bit more on the south You can enjoy the Picasso square, with a dedicated monument and Torre Picasso building. Many bars and restaurants are close to the stadium also, green walking areas, I would recommend also walking up north on Castellana, up to the Cuzco square first, then up to Arte Canal exibition center, where you can enjoy famous Calatrava and Jose Calvo Sotelo monuments…
