Metro that covers a large area of the city, although not so much to the south. The most beautiful stations are Paco de Lucía, Chamartín, Tirso de Molina, Gran Vía, Seville, Hortaleza, Hospital 12 de Octubre, Alto del Arenal, Marqués de la Valdavia, Plaza de Castilla, Arganzuela.

It is the longest metro in Spain. It has a very good connection with the city center, but not so much with the rest of Madrid. The frequency during Saturdays and Sundays can be 7/10 minutes.

I'd been in better places like this. Not the worst, but definitively not the best. Try to avoid if you can.

Madrid is a very walkable city, with most of the main sights within an easy distance of each other. We mostly walked and only used the metro once. However, it was clean, easy to use and inexpensive. Pricing was confusing but it is cheap travel so you can’t go too wrong. A basic single trip that covers up to 5 stations within the city (Zone A), costs €1.50. It becomes slightly more expensive if your trip is longer and covers more stations but the maximum fee is €2. That ticket will allow you to make a single journey between your selected stations. For this reason, there’s no need to tap off when you exit.
You can save at least €3 if you buy a multi-ticket of 10 trips (€12.20) but we thought it was unlikely that we’d use this. At the time we didn't realise that you can share a ticket so if there are two of you, you can both tap on with the same card even if you’re travelling together so this makes it even better value. It can also be used on buses but it can’t be used for the airport, which is a separate zone.
There are plenty of metro stations, including in the middle of Puerta del Sol.

The public transportation in madrid was amazing and made it easy for my sister and me to travel around the city and take in the sights and see places.
The cost was reasonable, and allowed me to not needing to drive in madrid as the transit is accessible pretty much everywhere and covers almost every area.
It has lots of stops and is easy to understand and provides numerous lines to make it easy to travel to a lot of locations.
Would recommend taking the transit in madrid and avoid the hassle of having to drive.

Grazie mille in anticipo a chi saprà rispondere.

Siamo in 2.
