We went there in the weekend on Saturday. Most shops were closed. But several food places were open. Mostly locals were gathering with friends and family, while enjoying food and wine. Nice atmosphere.

Followed the directions, just to find out there was nothing. Probably the day we turned up is wrong 11 Nov - or the place on the map is wrong.

I used to love this market when it was carried out at Chamartin... Now in Mercado de la Cebada, it's new location, it has lowered their standards in general on Everything. Overpriced tapas and dodgy merchandise. Go to Mercado de Motores or Mercado de Diseño...More
