We went to this Market while walking around the streets of this lovely area. This is quite a large market place. There are numerous shops. There are fashion shops and deli shops and everything else in between. We did not actually buy anything but the prices looked quite reasonable and would buy almost anything from here if the need arose.

We went there in the weekend on Saturday. Most shops were closed. But several food places were open. Mostly locals were gathering with friends and family, while enjoying food and wine. Nice atmosphere.

I used to love this market when it was carried out at Chamartin... Now in Mercado de la Cebada, it's new location, it has lowered their standards in general on Everything. Overpriced tapas and dodgy merchandise. Go to Mercado de Motores or Mercado de Diseño Instead, It's way cooler.

A large indoor market offering different shops, as well as a variety of food. We tried mojitos, pisco sours, and several tapas and also did some window shopping and purchased a few souvenirs to take home. Also, a great place with clean bathrooms and located near El Rastro.
