Cute plave

We were waiting for a table in a local restaurant so popped in here for a couple of drinks. Very old style jazz bar. No English spoken really but easy enough to order wine and beer. 14 euro for 2 wines and 2 beers. Nice place.

Interesting last century decor; good jazz
Feb 2018 • Couples
We loved the last century décor: dark heavy wood, brass lamps and fans, delicate art décor, an ancient cash register (still in use) and an ancient jukebox. The grizzly giant at the counter, nodded genially at my faltering Spanish order for tapas, tinto Verano (wine cooler) and a small beer, and gestured to a table. In two ticks, he delivered our tapas with two tall mugs of beers. That was also fine by us! However, apparently, he did understand some part of my communication as, at the correct time, he led us to the underground cavern-like cellar for the jazz performance, which was excellent. We thought the whole experience well worth the 8 euro cover charge.

A journey in the real past
Dec 2016 • Business
Being there was a unique experience. The old proprietors are authentic people who speak no English but in their case I didn't care. The decoration is old their cash machine is an old gem. The jazz band performance was excellent worth the 8 euro admission. I will certainly return .

a classic venue for jazz lovers
Sep 2016 • Friends
when I found this place I thought was one of this "old style recrestion" so common nowdays, but after half a beer I was fslling inblove with the venue.
the owners are so cool (old cuople) the music is great and the locals are fun. my guess is that they just dont mind that much about advertising, but the place is great

Passing by.....
...and Heard faint applause. On entering it was obvious that I'd found a neat little jazz/Spanish bar. What joy!
