You are such an angel for following your heart and creating such a vibrant community of guides to introduce everyone to this lifelong journey we now lovingly call Camino! You bring such joy and light in how you and your incredible team interact with virtual strangers and have such a beautiful way of connecting, so 'strangers' become fast friends.
Every detail of our tour was meticulously considered. The accommodations were first class and every meal true nourishment for the soul. Even our coach became a very welcome sight and 'home away from home' along our way! Much more than the care you poured into each of these details was the care with which they were presented to each and every member in our group. We felt treasured. Never before in all of my travels have I felt such an immediate kinship.
Esther was our guardian Angel of the Camino. Her exuberance kept us motivated and laughing quite literally every step of the Way. She shared personal experiences which illuminated meaningful points of interest, but so so much more. Her generosity of spirit is unmatched.
It was a blessing and honor to share time with everyone along the Camino. My prayer is we each found the inner peace we were seeking and it fills and carries us when the pain which is inevitable creeps in, so the 'suffering' forever remains optional.
Truly the hardest part for me was leaving everyone because we carved out the magical connection I had envisioned, but perhaps dared not hope for.

I’m in my 60’s. My daughter and I have dreamed of walking the Camino together since we first learned about it several years ago. This year we decided to go for it. After doing a little research, we decided to book with Marly Camino. Our tour started in Sarria on the French way which meets the 100 km requirement to earn your certificate of Compostela.
Marly FAR exceeded our expectations! I’m generally not a hiker, and yet I was able to successfully complete every step of the Way without a problem. Marly’s well-trained staff and meticulous attention to every detail made this journey a very positive one for my daughter and myself. Our guide, Bea, was OUTSTANDING. She was extremely knowledgeable and just a joy to have as a guide. She competently handled every need for our group of 9 pilgrims. She was an angel, always watching out for us. Our driver, Nico, was the best! He greeted us with a smile at every checkpoint, and had snacks and water readily available. The lodging accommodations were top-notch. Perhaps the best part of this unforgettable journey was meeting and forming a wonderful bond with the group through this shared experience.

8 of us used Marly Camino to assist us with arrangements during our March Camino from Sarria to Santiago & I couldn't be happier we did! At first, we were going to do all the bookings and luggage arrangements ourselves but as the time got closer, we decided to use Marly. Everything went very smoothly. This was not a guided tour, but they made all our hotel bookings (some really nice ones that we would never have found ourselves) and arranged our luggage transfers so we could walk with only a daypack. They also booked a tour to Finestierre/Muxia at the end of our Camino as well as a tapas tour in Madrid and a Flamenco dance evening. The various restaurants they recommended were uniformly excellent.
I personally did the research for my friends before selecting Marly and got the impression it was a more personal touch company. That turned out to be very true. They actually accompanied us to the train station in Madrid as we embarked for Sarria and were in touch with us during the entire Camino.
We did the walking by ourselves but the info they provided was excellent. I'm already thinking about a 2nd Camino and would use Marly again for sure!

This was the second time I went on a Marly Camino. This is one of the more memorable trips I have taken.
Firstly, Marly actually comes and welcomes you which feels so personal. A special touch!
Secondly, they have chosen places to stay and eat which were mostly memorable.
Thirdly, Marly Camino attracts lovely individuals. It was just beautiful to journey with interesting and kind human beings which made the walk very pleasant.
The Driver and Tour Guide take such good care of you that you know that even if you lose your way on the Camino by not following the sign and turning somewhere else, they will always come to your rescue.
Lastly, everyone in the Company have such positive energies. A real plus!!!

Marly Camino, Marly and her team give that extra personal touch that separates them from other agencies. A camino with them is not just a trip...it's an superb experience from start to finish. Not only do they make sure that you are safe (with outstanding accommodations, experienced guides and a well-thought out itinerary) but they ensure that your camino, whether it's your first or your 100th, is special and filled with unforgettable moments.
For itineraries, Marly knows the best spots in the camino, the "must-not-miss" experiences, and adds activities (if desired) to enhance the camino experience.

I highly recommend working with Marly and her team. I looked at several companies for our 2022 trip with 12 women and made the right choice to use the Marly Group. Everyone we worked with was exceptionally kind, helpful and responsive. From the onset we felt part of a family, and not just a client. We had a magical trip and lifetime memories. Thank you Marly and Alex. You are the best.

Magical-That is the key word I would use to describe our experience on Marly's Camino Plus trip. Our group was small (only 12 of us all total) which was a great size and Marly's guide and bus driver took care of all of the details which allowed us to walk and focus on our experience. I have wanted to take this journey for several years now and it more than exceeded my expectations. It is truly a magical experience that will impact me for the rest of my life.

I have travelled widely and can honestly say that the level of care, and I'll say it, love, with which Marly shared The Camino with us was truly amazing. From the planning to our guide and our wonderful driver - we were shown true attention to our needs and a huge desire to make this a very special trip- and it was. The Camino in and of itself is a unique and incredible experience, but with Marly Camino it was all that and so much more. Can not recommend this company enough - especially for those of us a little older, but still wanting to do this incredible inner and outer journey.

Can't ask for anything more. The Marly people were there to ensure that our Camino to Santiago was perfect. Our guide Bea was fantastic! Bea walked with us all the way acting as sweeper making sure no one was lost or was having a problem. Very good accommodations and gastronomic food. Nico our driver was awesome as well keeping our spirits up.

I have several things that were my favorites on Marly's Camino Plus trip: Arriving at Alto del Person, leaving rocks at the Iron Cross, the beautiful mountain village of El Cebreiro, Pilgrims mass in Santiago and seeing the swinging of the Botafumeiro are just a few of the sites that spoke to me. I loved that I could walk alone or walk with others. Most of all was our amazing guide Ignacio and driver Martin. They took care of us with all the snacks, water, and first aid that we wanted. They made sure we were ok every part of the way. I walked alone the first week and felt safe knowing they were always available. The most difficult part was realizing that the journey was coming to an end and having to prepare to come home; The Camino changed my life in many ways. I will always cherish the memories of this trip and look forward to doing another with MARLY TOURS.

What is cancellation policy?

Canceling a tour for us happens on very rare occasions for lack of participants either when a small group of pilgrims cancels, or for not reaching the minimum in the first place. This is not at all common since most of our tours fill up, but it could happen on some occasions.
We notified you of the lack of participants immediately after a small group canceled for that tour and were doing everything possible to contact others who were potentially interested in those dates, even launching some special promotions for that Camino so that we wouldn’t have to cancel. Canceling a tour is the last thing we ever want to do! It is very uncomfortable and we never wish to put you in such an inconvenient situation after making all your plans. We know everything that goes into making plans to travel abroad!

What is the maximum and the minimum number of people that can take the self-guided tour? Do we have to go on a scheduled date or can we schedule our own? Do you provide assistance with air travel?

All tours can be taylormade. So there is no minimum or maximum number of people if you want a specific date and you ask for a "private tour". If you choose a "regular tour" which dates you can see in the website the minimum uses to be 6 people and a maximum of 16.
