After researching flamenco shows on internet and prices, we discovered Juglar which was only 200meters from our apartment and the cheapest in town. Most were priced from 35€. We payed 15€ with a glass of wine included in the deal via flamenco.com only 2 hours before the show and the tickets were confirmed in less than 30 minutes via email. Whilst we were on our way from our restaurant I noticed my small bag had been opened and wallet missing, so take care in Madrid, especially when waiting for traffic lights to turn green. After I blocked my credit card we decided to see the show anyway and I was so glad I did. The show not only distracted me from this unpleasant situation but it was uplifting and vibrant. The theatre is so intimate, you are so close to the stage even if you are seated at the last row. Professional dancers and musicians. Only a 4 person show, but that's all you need. Such energy and grace at the same time. It made my evening. I have been to other flamenco shows in bigger establishments, though this has been the best as it had a personal touch.

A friend & flamenco aficionado recommended Juglar to me while I was visiting Madrid. I love flamenco and this would be my 3rd tablao show in 3 days in Madrid. This was the most intimate setting, a great value for those who just want to enjoy flamenco and not be distracted by dinners, or table service during the show. You can still order a drink prior to taking your seat, so no worries here. The space has chairs only with everyone facing the stage in the back of the room. Everyone will be able to see well (unless there a a couple super tall people in front of you), and for sure hear well. The artists are very good and you get to experience pure flamenco. I enjoyed the show and recommend it if you are looking for a good value to experience pretty good flamenco artists.

I did some research before booking and this place promised great authentic show. Were they right! It's the show of 3 female dancer, 1 male singer and a guitarist. The flamenco dance and singing a delivered in its purest form, As traditional as they get.
Highly recommended! And it's a steal for the price!
Don't book dinner shows. Go to this one, have a beer or a glass of wine, take in the flamenco, give it your undivided attention and then go have a nice dinner. I recommend EL Caldero on Huertas street - 7 min walk. Very good paella and deserts to die for!
Enjoy!

This was my first flamenco show, so I don't know much about it, but I can tell you I was entertained for 90 minutes. The dancers were energetic and seemed to really click with the singer and the guitarist, both very talented.
The reason I chose this place was the price was just so cheap compared to the other places I considered. There is no dinner option, so no pressure to by higher priced tickets for better seats (I read that's what some of the other places do, but I can't say for sure). Our tickets came with one free drink and one of the dancers checked us in. It was a very small venue, with both tourists and locals.

First flamenco show of my life...unforgettable experience!
My friends and I have been welcome by the staff with a drink, a very nice glass of "tinto" wine (I regret not to ask the name of the wine, it was soooooo good). The show starts with a little "spanish" delay, but don't get into a hurry, waiting a (bit) is worthed. The stage (so close to be touched) counts 2 dancers, a guitar player and the singer. Lights go down, music & voice play and the magic stars: from then onward it's a shiver at each foot tap, each hands clap...

This is a nice place to go if you want to see the dancers up close and watch exactly how they move. Excellent dancing, singing, guitar playing too.
It is easy to get to and felt safe when we walked to the metro; Lavapies is an interesting neighborhood, full of Indian restaurants. The Indian food is quite different though from what Indian food is in the US and UK.
Special kudos to the grace and kindness of the performers. On the night we attended, an audience member could not help but distract everyone in the room, and the performers were very sweet and gracious.

Went to the Sunday night flamenco show and it was spectacular! The singer had an incredible voice, the guitarist was perfect at keeping everything at a great pace, and of course the dancers were outstanding. Three dancers performed. The show lasted 1 hr. Live singing and guitar throughout the show. Entrance fee was too inexpensive for the caliber of the performances - only 13 euro and included a drink. I wish I lived in Madrid so I could go every week. Do not miss Flamenco night if you are in Madrid on a Sunday! Tip: they say performance is at 9:00, but show really didn't get started until a little after 9:30. Don't get there too early or you'll be waiting around.

Don't miss out on this gem! It's unbelievable and spectacular. You get an intimate environment wear you can see and feel the vibrations of the footwork. And the price?! You can't go wrong. You'll never spend your euros any better than at Juglar. Come on Sundays to see the fabulous "cuadro" flamenco where these artists have it in their bones. You'll be overwhelmed!

An intimate, intense experience at a very fair price (15 euro including a beer, wine or soft drink). The venue is gorgeous inside, staff very friendly and my friends and I were completely mesmerised by the show. Would especially recommend as a romantic experience for couples.
