Address
Neighborhood: Chamberí
Multi-story residential buildings decorated with ornate balconies line the traditional, quiet, and pretty streets of Chamberí. Humble storefronts and neighborhood taverns are scattered across the lower levels down every block, and here and there, there's a cluster of tables on the sidewalk. It isn't ever crowded, but people are always out, poking into the tiny bakeries, hardware stores, and tobacco shops, or ducking into a bright, unadorned cerveceria to have a coffee or beer by the bar, flip through the paper, and check the sports score. The round Plaza Olavide, where the fairly regular network of streets breaks form, is among the most green and lively spots. Restaurants line its circumference and sought-after outdoor tables fill the center of the plaza, where people relax to the sounds of kids playing and street musicians' tunes.

21 scottish boys headed to Madrid for 3 days at the end of April on a stag do. Before going o came across their pub on the web and dropped them a mail to see if they could accommodate us.Rick replied and they couldnt have done any more for us!when we arrived they had made a buffet and anything we asked they couldnt have been more helpful!we'd asked for them to put scottish football on and they were happy to oblige!Bryn makes a cracking breakfast!Special mention to Ro who was fantastic and puts on a great show! And a big thanks to Rick, Melf and Bryn for all their, help, info and advice on all things madrid which ensured we had a magic time in madrid!if you are visiting madrid then this is a cracking wee boozer that you would enjoy and would be sure to great hospitality. Thanks again Mad Dogs Team, will be sure to visit the next time i'm in madrid. Great place in central Madrid... If you're looking for a proper English breakfast, then look no further! Large pieces of toast, baked beans, Cumberland sausages, bacon & scrambled eggs. A piece of England in the heart of Spain! Perfect for ex-pats & tourists alike! :) If, however, you are Brunch fan then you're also in luck. :)

With the hottest barmaids in town and a wide selection of ales and spirits, make this your first destination in Madrid. Come pissed and get even more pissed.

One of my favourite haunts in Madrid. Rick the owner is awesome and all the staff are cheery folk and good banter. Fantastic selection of interesting, Belgian and )strong) foreign beers and always a great atmosphere. You have to check this place out!

Mad dogs is the friendliest bar in Madrid and nobody will leave here feeling empty. The drinks are cheap and the atmosphere is so comfortable, feels like I've been coming here for years. Melf, the bartender and owner, has made this place the spot to be in Madrid. Nobody leaves here without having an awesome time.
