We loved this cozy restaurant. A little off the beaten path but well worth the walk. Everything was outstanding and from Appetizer to dessert and the Wine.

Ok, so I’m 1st generation Italian living in Canada
And of all the burata and pasta I’ve had both home and in Italy this was UP THERE in the best I’ve ever had
The gnocchi were literally like heavenly pillows and the tagliatelle was fantastic.
I’m deathly allergic to shellfish and crustaceans, and they were EXTREMELY accommodating. The manager told me to order directly with him and made sure everything went smoothly.
Would reccomend to anyone!

This beautiful restaurant had amazing service with a great staff and even better tasting food. For Americans traveling to Madrid this was the best food ever. There are several amazing pizza options each person in group got a different one and all were delicious. The staff is so kind! Right after the first dinner here my group made reservations for later that week it was so good.

We went there recently, and opted not to go for the pizzas (but now wish that we had). The lasagne was almost all béchamel sauce and no meat, and the tiramisu was pretty awful.
The restaurant has a nice vibe, but our evening was spoiled by a waiter who threw the cutlery across the table (yes he did!) and had a really bad attitude towards us all night, and I am really not sure what it was all about.
The pizzas looked really good though. If I went again I would stick with them.

walking around the centre of Madrid on a cold evening, me and my partner were looking for a romantic restaurant that served vegiterian options for myself, it was a struggle. But eventually we came across this dainty little Italian resturant in a quite street off a busy road. The visuals of the resturant exterior is delightful, it has that nostalgic feeling of a past time i was not even born into.
Upon looking into the window it looked to be at full capacity but never the less we still attemped to get a table for our last meal before i had to head home back to england.
Unfortunately it was as expected full, but the waitress took my partners phone number to notify us when a table was free.
By our luck within 10 minutes we got the call.
When we went back we found that this restaurant is on two floors and had even more tables down stairs (you just know when a place is full you have made the correct decision).
We orderd our drink (lambrusco is highly recommended) which came in a lovely stainless steel ice bucket. And then proceeded to order our food.
I had a pizza (please forgive me my spanish is not that great so i forget the name) with four cheeses, and my partner had one with mushrooms and peppers. We shared and my god!!!! Both pizzas were packed with flavor, the dough could instantly be recognised as being cooked in a trational fire oven.. this is a very very special place. The only one thing that i would recommend is staff be taught to come back and ask of the food is ok, just so we know we are being looked after, because we may have also ordered more drinks if that had been the case.
Apart from that its amazing, you wont regret this as a choice for a romantic evening. The interior is just aa cosy as the exterior.

We revisited this restaurant as we had eaten here several times and experienced good food, as usual. Service, however, is tricky. Staff appears friendly and efficient, but when we asked the bill for the daily menu all drinks were charged separately. They are included in the price of the menu. We complained and rwceived another bill. An error they said. Certainly not: where all other tables were offered limoncello we were left out. That was only for a la carte we were told. Nonsense as we only saw people eating the daily menu. Apparently this is the treatment you get when there is a foreigner in the group. Most other guests were Spanish, as is my wife. Upon reflection...they also overcharged us the first time we ate here 3 years ago and offered excuses. A pity they consistently spoil a good meal with such greedy behaviour.

Authentic Italian cuisine. Generous portions and good service. We enjoyed our first meal so much that we returned on our 50th wedding anniversary. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked great. I had the lasagne done as a special. Delicious.

We had a delicious Italian meal at Malatesta. For a family of 4 we shared 2 pizzas, which were excellent, and 2 pastas and we had more than we could eat. We ate on the outside patio, which was very nice and we have a very good overall experience. I would recommend this restaurant for sure.

Amazing restaurant! Food was excellent, so tasty, would say the best Italian restaurant I’ve ever been to! Staff were all so friendly, helpful and welcoming especially the waiters we had which were Mario and Luigi! Everything was brilliant, thanks so much, would definitely recommend for anyone who likes Italian food x
