This is an example of what our forefathers built with style and excellence. Walking along here is like walking back in history. I cannot believe at times how fortunate people were to have such beautiful architecture. Really really beautiful

Beautiful bridge and the park which locates right under the bridge provide good natural atmosphere. I think it is a nice place to picnic during the summer, when the weather is good.

This bridge is awesome, given its condition and its history. It is really worth a visit to appreciate what quality design and engineering are all about

I either run under it or over it a couple of times a week and it’s just a beautiful bridge. It’s very nicely light up when it’s dark as well.

Going there at day-time you can look at the river and imaging how Madrid developed its life in the past, if the traffic is not so intense. Going there at night-time the feeling is even stronger.

A jewel of Madrid, that you can visit for free. It is near the most important museums of the city. A nice place to admire the madrilenean river of Manzanares, and take photos.

As far as I am aware there are no special events that take place on the bridge, but its popularity and that of the neighbouring parks suggest it may be quieter during a weekday than a weekend.
