Came across this on a long walk (15km) in Madrid. Was very impressed by the architecture of the area. Plenty of cafe's around to quench thirst etc.

The area is full of chaos with endless road constructions going on. It is not a nice area for walking around or breathing..

Beautiful and historic monument. The architecture here and surrounding it are great. Can't miss it if you are strolling Gran Via.

Find a sidewalk café near here, so you can enjoy the sight. Many artists capture this scene, and sell it in the park, and in the boulevard going toward The Prado.
