Lovely old theatre bang next to Metro, bars, restaurants etc. Nice bars inside the theatre too. Oh yeah.

We loved the show. A very talented cast led by young Jana Gómez who is the perfect Anya. It's a different story from the film we know and love, and the songs have been given a new translation, but I thought it was a brilliant production. The costumes are superb. The choreography was fantastic and my favourite scene was the Swan Lake performance with that wonderful medley of songs.
The only problem we found is the merchandising which was very sad, because they could sell posters/bookmarks/booklets about the production and they only sell cheap looking notebooks and keychains.

Also the ushers should be focusing more on the people in the audience during the show, because a very rude woman who was sitting next to me kept on taking pictures and recording videos of the performances.

Mamma Mia-excellent!

I had seen Mamma Mia in New York and this time I saw it in Madrid in Spanish. Nina, the woman who plays the Meryl Streep character in the movie, has an excellent voice. The acoustics in the theatre are also very good. It is all in Spanish, songs included-if you speak and understand Spanish it is very enjoyable; if not and you know the story it is still worthwhile. The performances from the cast were first rate-I would recommend highly.
