The tour was amazing and the guide was very accommodating to our needs, we are only in Madrid for two days and the bike tour really gave us the opportunity to see most of Madrid main attraction points in such a short time. Very productive 3 hours great for history.

In 3 hours, this tour helped us explore so much of Madrid and get a great history of the city. The guide was amazing; always explaining things, made sure everyone was comfortable with bike, happy to take pictures, and asked if we needed breaks. Recommended to anyone wanting to see Madrid with a knowledgable and enthusiastic tour guide!

We went on our tour yesterday- 2.5 hrs city tour. Our guide Miguel was very friendly, checked our bikes, and that we were happy with then, giving us an over view of the route before we left. The tour went all over the city, rarely crossing the same road twice. Definitely worth a visit early on in your stay.

The bikes are in excellent condition, for a good price, and the owner is great! Although the road infrastructure is not the safest for bicycles, it's still the best option to explore the city.

Staying in Barrio de Salamanca

Neighborhood Profile
Barrio de Salamanca
Broad, tree-lined avenues with pretty streetlights frame the neighborhood of Barrio Salamanca. With beautiful condominium buildings that make up most blocks in this area, this part of town is refined and quiet. It is also host to a few of the city's large shopping avenues, including Calle Serrano and Calle Jose Ortega y Gasset. A walk down these streets will reveal upscale chains, small boutiques, and plenty of opportunities for shopping or checking out the stylish displays. The locals here are polished and fashionable, the atmosphere is leisurely, and the lush Retiro Park on the southern border is yet another opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. A stroll through Barrio Salamanca is all about admiring the beautiful architecture, window-shopping, and people-watching in this upper-crust corner of Madrid.
