Delightful evening and introduction in Madrid with Luis

Our tapas tour with Luis was a delightful way to spend our first evening in Madrid. Luis was welcoming and friendly, and of course, super knowledgeable about local foods and the best places to go for specific foods and drinks. The introduction to tapas locations, as well as other restaurants and bars for future meals in Madrid, was exactly what we were hoping for when we booked this experience.

Due to the virus Luis made sure that we followed all required sanitary and distancing requirements, and we felt very comfortable with them as well as with how each location we visited also followed the health requirements.

The tour was a great value. We learned heaps about Madrid and Spanish history and also received a great overview of the layout of the city.

We stopped at four locations on the tour for food and drink and made a few other stops along the way to take a quick peek at particular bars and restaurants to understand better their role in Madrid’s history.

Luis was an amazing guide! He showed us areas of Madrid that we may not have seen on our own. Luis brought us to several tapas bars that are hidden to tourists but well known to locals. He gave us insightful information on the city and other great tapas bars to try on our own. Great experience and amazing food!

Great intro to Madrid and awesome food!

We had an awesome tapas tour with Luis! The food was amazing and all the stops were definitely places we wouldn’t have thought to check out if we were just wandering around. Luis knows a ton about the city and will bring you by the major attractions of the city as well as hidden spots. We learned a lot and came away with a ton of recommendations about where to eat and what other attractions to go see. We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Madrid, it was definitely a highlight of our trip!

Wine and more with guide Luis
Regardless of your previous experience wine tasting I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this particular experience, based in the Plaza de Santa Ana area of Madrid. Expect to be part of a small group, which allows for a personal service and plenty of conversation (it was no problem for my girlfriend, who prefers whites to reds, to swap one of her reds for another white). Luis is a knowledgeable and engaging guide and creates an open atmosphere to discuss the wines and any other areas conversation may turn to. Beyond just the wine tasting, Luis, as a native Madrileño, also gave us some great recommendations on where to eat, drink and shop during a short walk around the immediate Santa Ana area. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and would recommend it to anyone looking to do this sort of thing while in Madrid, thank you Luis!

Great Afternoon Activity
My friend and I enjoyed a few hours with owner Luis and some wine tasting. We met in a very beautiful square and walked around a learned a bit of history before entering an old family run wine shop. Our service was excellent. We tasted 5 wines and snacks on meats, cheeses and olives (best ever)! We learned more about regions of wine and history of Spain. Luis finished by taking us to another 100 plus year old tapa place for a glass of wine and shrimp. We enjoyed ourselves very much. Our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable. It’s only one stop, but perfect to start your day in Madrid.

Luis was brilliant and we had such a fantastic night. He took us to amazing tapas spots. He was also so knowledgable about the city itself, a truly brilliant guide. We only wish we’d gone on our first night. Highly recommend .

History and tapas in madrid- the best way to experience Madrid

We had an amazing tour with Luis during last Christmas and Hannoka vacation..Luis is a fantastic local tour guide from Madrid who made sure that my friends and i will have the best time in Madrid and so it was😉we got to have dinner at least 5 times during Luis's tour and every time was even more tasty and spacial than the previos one:) the history if the city is super interesting and Luis maintained a very high level of communication with us. i would want to visit Madrid and Luis at least once a year! Highly reccomended for every one.

WINE TASTING EXPERIENCE

On our first day in Madrid, we met Mario for his Wine Tasting Experience Tour. He took us to a few very interesting places and was very knowledgable about the Spanish Wines. He also recommended to us a few good places to eat. We enjoyed it and it was well worth booking!
