Another beautiful monument/fountain in the middle of a busy intersection, so it is somewhat hard to appreciate it fully. It is very impressive nonetheless.

This landmark of Madrid is a pretty neo-classical styled fountain, close to Parque Retiro and just south of another major landmark, the Fuente de Cibeles. The sculpture depicts Neptune standing on his sea chariot, which a giant tortoise forming the base of the chariot emerging...More

It is hard to see because there is huge roundabout with like 3 lines and it makes it hard to see it fully. Only option is to have a photo from pretty far away.

In a city with plenty to see its hard to stand out. This is a great fountain and does just that. Wonderfully located and really beautiful; worth at least getting your driver to slow down or ideally wandering past it, day and night!

Although it is surrounded by traffic, the fountain in lovely to see, especially when illuminated at night.

This is a lovely fountain but I have never been passed it at night. Today was the first time and it was lit up in a beautiful and spectacular fashion.

Similar in idea to the Cibeles Fountain. It is also located in the middle of a busy street, so you'll probably only get a passing glimpse of it. It's a beautiful, huge fountain especially when lit at night.

Like the Plaza Independencia the Neptuno Fountain is surrounded by roads so it is difficult to get a close up look. We would have liked to get closer but it just wasn't possible. Worth seeing though more for the sculpture than the water display.

Centred on a busy road, the fountain is worth seeing if you are on your way to Retiro Park. Not being accessible to go in for a closer look is the only drawback.

This is a large fountain right in the middle of a very busy intersection. It appears to be made of marble. If you are traveling in the area you can’t miss it. It’s very well done.
