We visited the zoo on a rainy day, so most of animals were not really active. Also, since it is not summer season, most of shops and cafes are closed in January. The price I think was a bit too big, we paid 23 euros, I hoped for some student discount, but they don't have one. Anyways, still worth visiting,... More

I like this zoo very much, I was there twice, everytime more than 4 hours! A lot of different animals, exciting dolphins and birds shows. We also love orang-outang family. The father of the family adores shelled peanuts and it is very funny to look how he gets them with the help of a stick.

During our stay we visited this big zoo. It was a great experience. We were there 7 hours and enjoyed it a lot. So many animals in one spot.

We went on a cold and rainy day, this didn't spoil our visit in the slightest. We spent a whole afternoon here and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. There is an onsite cafe and shop. We went in January, so food and drink stalls around the Zoo were closed. There is a lot of animals to see and there is a lot... More

This visit was really amazing with my daughters, Really great perception of the spaces available for all the animals. Huge location and a lot of animals. Suggested - to be considered a visit of not less than 6 hours.

Visited this zoo in August 2015, there was a very good sea lion display, a wonderful dolphin exhibition and then a large bird display. This was by far the best zoo I have ever visited. Could easily spend 6 to 7 hours on a visit to see all the attractions. Take metro to Casa de Campo and zoo is short... More

This is definitely a wonderful Zoo even though, when we visited it, it was not high season and most probably the less interesting day to visit :January first. The kids loved it. We reached there by Telpherique and a 2 kms walk in the Parc (Lovely). The Cafeteria was only open and we had tasty sandwiches and Tortes. We then... More

Loved, loved, loved this zoo! Clean, green, and wide open feeling, the animals had lovely open spaces and seemed content and comfortable. Zoos have an important place in animal conservation and preservation and this one seems to have an exceptional breeding programme in place. Surprisingly uncrowded, although it was winter. Well worth the entry price.

Visited zoo aquarium de Madrid in October 2015. It is just under 1km walk from casa de campo metro station. The zoo was so good we spent most of the day here. However it was slightly difficult trying to communicate with staff as quite a few of them spoke very little English. But the animals was what we were there... More
