This was a great place to visit. So many animals to look at. The kids enjoyed learning about all the animals. The descriptions were in English as well as Spanish. Buggy friendly which is nice.

I was a little unsure of what to expect having read previous reviews and having lived close to Whipsnade Zoo all my life. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Obviously the animals are in captivity - what do you expect at a zoo? But most of their enclosures are reasonably large and there is evidence that the zoo is working to... More

Great dolphins show, very nice and attractive composition of animals´ locations and very close contact with the animals, when you are in Madrid it is worth visiting. As negative I qualify lack of any person being able to speak in any other language than in Spanish. I had some troubles there, I was asking if my family was classified to... More

We went on the Assumption bank holiday, we arrived at 10.15 having been here four years ago, We were impressed to see that internet ticker holders had their own entrance and we could scan our tickets thus escape the queues for tickets. We were nabbed for a photo opportunity and given a card to find it later but at 7.99... More

It was perfect. Very hot day so be careful to check weather and bring lots of water! I saw my favourite animal ( capybara ) so I was happy indeed.

We took the cable car thinking it would take us close to the zoo but had to walk for at least 35 min. from there without any street signs until reaching the zoo. A nice zoo but make sure you arrive and eat before all the reataurants close in the afternoon. Or bring a lunchbox. And plenty of drinks as... More

Public transport is a great treat to get to Madrid Zoo Aquarium, both metro line 10, which stops only 900 meters away from the park or 33 bus line, which stops at the main gate of the park. The usual opening hours of restaurants is from 13 pm but please check all information or timetables main cafeteria, to access the... More

Not the most exciting zoo I've ever visited, but when visiting Madrid and you have some spare time (or just love to visit a zoo!), this zoo is worth a visit. Plus they have a nice show with dolphins.

Very nice zoo and much better because there are a aquarium in it. You can see many dolphins, sea lions and bird show, which make this place a good place to visit with family. The Babuin monkeys are very good. I never saw so many together, i will gues around 50 monkeys playing in the same place. To eat in... More
