Thoroughly enjoyed our visit up Parque del Retiro. What a well kept park, it was immaculately pruned and preened. There wasn’t a thing out of place. The lake was a big hit with the boats and there were plenty of areas to sit abs have...More

Visiting Parque del Retiro was a very good experience. There are several points of interest, from Palacio de Cristal to Monumento a Alfonso XII. I recommend that you take water and visit in two different days. You should totally go to the lake and take...More

You cannot go to Madrid and not visit this amazing park! It has so much for you to see and do. We hired a boat, walked around the pretty gardens, sat down and people watched. I would definitely recommend for you to visit here!

So much to see and watch! From people doing yoga to random peacocks walking past! Try and map your route as there are many exits and it’s easy to get lost!

Huge park in the core of Madrid Centre. I can imagine how important it is during hot season to escape from hot sunshine and feel the green nature.

An absolute beauty of park. Very big, beautiful open spaces, nice lake with the possibility to rent boats. One of my favorite spots in Madrid.

From memory, the boats aren't available to hire when I was there but it might have been the time of year i.e. winter
