Madrid is justifiably famous for its innumerable plaza's and Plaza De San Miguel has to be one of the most busy.
This plaza has some fantastic architecture and tourist sites near by so is very popular, located just off the well traveled Calle Mayor, Plaza De San Miguel is a square packed with some great pubs,bars and restaurants but to me the biggest attraction is most definitely the very popular Mercado De San Miguel which is a market hall packed with all manner of shops, bars,restaurants, cafe's and pubs showcasing all the very best local produce Madrid has to offer, day or night its packed as is this extremely popular and bustling plaza which is most definitely well worth checking out if your in the area or planning a holiday to Madrid.
Well worth seeking out.

One of my must go destinations on any holiday I take to Madrid is Plaza De San Miguel.
It's a wonderful square that has some really fine and ancient architecture all around, there's an amazing amount of pubs, bars and restaurants not just on the square but in the streets leading into Plaza De San Miguel, my favourite place is Mercado De San Miguel, a busy and bustling market hall with some great bars and street food stalls ,the atmosphere on Plaza De San Miguel is really cool ,its a busy and vibrant square that's most definitely well worth checking out if you're planning a holiday to Madrid.

The Plaza de S. Miguel is occupied by the market of the same name. Full of stalls selling delicacies and top quality products, also full of tourists. (Come in and have something, man! There are many "Primark" bars around the world, you forget them after two minutes, but something you remember is worth paying a little more for)
