We went there by curiosity to see ‘the famous bullfights’ in Madrid. The stadium is an impressively beautiful building. The bullfight is not on the same... The toreador has a few helpers that made the bull run around. However, they are protected behind fences, so...More

We were so lucky the bull were running the day we landed in Madrid :) We purchased our seats and had the tickets delivered to the hotel so we would have them by the time we checked in AND they were there. The matadores are...More

Came here on June 3. It was amazing to witness the history, atmosphere, and bullring itself. We bought our tickets online with no issues. Afterward there was a band performing, which kept the party going.

This may not be for everybody, but this is quite a show. The Spanish audience is what you would see at a US football game: men, women, kids. There does not appear to be a bad seat in the house. Select seats by sol (sun)...More

I’m not an advocate of bullfighting but needed to visit to understand the history and the meaning to the Spanish people. I learnt many things and was amazed by the intricacies of the costumes worn. I still don’t want to see a bullfight but came...More

We visited it spontaneously hoping for the possibility to buy the tickets there. We arrived half an hour before the bullfight was supposed to start and the tickets were sold out. There was a dealer offering the tickets for 100€ per person which we did...More

We saw two bull rings in Barcelona couple of days earlier, but they are no longer operating. One is a Bullfighting museum and the other is a shopping mall. We went in the afternoon of the first bull fight of the season, which was in...More

It’s like going back in time and quite a spectacle. The crowd is well dressed and appreciative of the athleticism and skill of the matadors and the beautiful bulls that they fight. The end is brutal but the large animals are killed quickly with a...More

I bought tickets from Vistingo. They email you the tickets as a PDF with a QR code which you have to open on your phone for the usher to scan. No need to collect tickets at the gate. That said, when I arrived I realized I... More
