We spent the morning with Hernan at the Prado seeing the Goyas and Valquezes paintings. Hernan was so knowledgable about the background of the artists and the subjects of the paintings . It was an excellent education and enjoyable visit. We later saw the Royal Palace with him and had a very similar experience. Could not have done it without... More

Irina is a fantastic, charming, informative guide. While we go to many museums, neither my wife nor I is an art expert -- Irina's itinerary steered us to the most interesting pieces in this vast museum, and her commentary gave us a depth of information and insight we had never encountered before. I give her the highest possible recommendation.

After visiting many museums in other places, we realised that not being art buffs, we would be better off with a guide that would bring the art to life for us but was concerned as we (hubby & I) were together with our 3 kids (ages 18, 21 and 24) who were not much interested in art at all. However,... More

We enjoyed a fantastic full day private tour of the highlights of the Prado, then traveled by private car to Toledo for an afternoon tour of the old city, which included a delicious authentic gourmet lunch and an insider's tour of local churches with many amazing Goyas and El Grecos. We could not have done this day tour with our... More

We really enjoyed our tours with Madrid Museum Tours. We visited the Prado Museum and did a walking tour of the city with Irina. Her knowledge of the history and art was extremely impressive. We then did two days of tours with Hernan. He was phenomenal. We did one day in Toledo, El Escorial, and Valley of the Fallen. On... More

We’ve experienced amazing hours with Irina during our tour of Prado Museum. Her extremely deep knowledge of Spanish art and history along with her charming personality turned our time into a splendid mixture of emotional penetration into ages and inspiration of mind. Irina’s vast erudition allowed us to acquire a lot of new facts that could not be easily found... More

We had 4 tours across 3 days (El Prado, Reina Sofia Museum, walking tour, and driving tour) and all were excellent. Irina, Hernan, and Fernando were super knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, patient (we had a 7-week old baby with us!) and excellent overall.

Our guide, Mr. Satt, was very knowledgeable and was able to share information about various paintings and religious works that could not be found in any guidebook. He had a great sense of how to steer us through the Prado to maximize the amount of time that we could spend with works of art (and not the crowds that tend... More

Attraction : Madrid Museum Tours Description : Irina hosted our family for a tour of Prado Museum and a walking tour of Madrid. We booked a tour of Old Madrid and the Royal Convents of the Descalzas and Encarnacion. Our guide, owner Hernan Satt, was so gifted in explaining the history, art and sculpture of these special sites. We appreciated them to their capacity. Hernan found a lovely classic Spanish restaurant for our lunch. At the end of the tour he surprised and... More
