From minute one the guide attracted our full attention. The explanations were easy to follow and the story extremely engaging and appealing. We all left with the impression that time had flied and that we all had learned art details about paintings that otherwise we would never had been able to find out with the regular museum audio guide or... We booked a private guide to tour the Royal palace and Prado museum for one day. Mr Hernann was very knowledgeable, given his background as a former professor. The tour was conducted in a leisurely and friendly manner, and he tried to make it approachable for all of us (2 adults 2 teens). He even arranged lunch for us at... More

We took a private tour with Hernan Satt with our young adult children. Take it if you can afford it or splurge, especially if you are only in Madrid for a day or two. Do not get off the plane with jet lag and take it as you will not be able to absorb it or do all the walking.... More

Private tour's quality depends much on individual tour guide. Our tour guide Irina is very professional. My teenage daughter learned more Spanish history from her than from her history class. By visiting Prado Museum and Reina Sofia Museum with Irina, we were able to connect many historical figures and events that were recorded by artists through multiple medias. She also... More

We booked a private tour with MMT and our guide was Hernan. We were a family of seven-- five "children" ages 20, 17,17,14, and 12. Hernan was attentive to each family member and included them in his stories. He was able to talk to each person at their level-- whether he practiced Spanish with them or proposed questions to them... More

My friend and I had the best Prado museum and old town tour in October! Our amazing tour guide was Irina. Irina's art and history knowledge is outstanding. I usually get tired and bored at the museums after about one hour. With Irina guiding us 2.5 hours at Prado went like one minute. When I come back to Madrid, I... More

We booked the private strolling tour with MMT and our guide was Señor Hernán Satt. He was most entertaining and very attentive. He made us appreciate the arts even more than we already did. We may not have looked at all the paintings, but he took us to the paintings that he thought would hold our interest and those with... More

In October of 2016 my sister and I travelled to Madrid to visit my college-age daughter who was studying abroad there. We booked two tours through Madrid Museum Tours and both were fabulous. I had done my research and saw all the acclaim that this company got....Let me tell you it is well-founded! We had a 2 1/2 hour tour... More

In October 2014 my wife and I were lucky enough to spend 10 days in Rome.Ten days is not enough to learn everything so I needed a 2 nd dose. This October we tried 7 days in Madrid and 3 days in Barcelona..First full day in Madrid we met Irina at 10 for our tour, "The Great Evolution". I know,... More

We had Hernan for our tour of the Prado and Reina Sofia and it was, in short, the most memorable tour we've ever had and an unforgettable experience. After, we continued on to Barcelona and San Sebastian, and we could not go to the museums without thinking of Hernan and asking ourselves "what would Hernan say." We are immensely grateful... More
