Pro's - Carlos, the guide, was nice - Fairly well organized and informative - Some pretty good tapas and wine Con's - We felt rushed at a few places. Literally had to chug our drinks on the way out. Give guests a 5 minute warning before leaving! - A few places were extremely crowded making it hard to communicate and... More

This was an amazing visit to some wineries in Ribera del Duero from Madrid. Enrique was awesome. He was very knowledgeable about the wine making process and gave us great answers to all or questions. He made sure to pick wineries that had some contract between them so we can get a taste of a little bit of everything while... More

My fiancé and I took this tour on the last night of a two-week European vacation. This was definitely one of the "top two" tours of our trip. Our guide Carlos was friendly and knowledgeable. The food and wine were great! We also were lucky enough to have a great group of people which we spent time with even after... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our Tapas and Wine Tasting Walking Tour of Madrid. We met at Plaza St Ana, and walked to 4 or 5 very local and wonderful Tapas restaurants. They were all long established and family run places, where we ate beautiful, fresh and fantastic quality Tapas with great wines from around Spain. Carlos our guide was excellent -... More

I had flown into Madrid the morning of the tour......was able to get over a bit of my jet lag, so it was a good way to start my touring of Spain, the first evening in Madrid......met Enrique in Santa Ana Square near a statute outside the theatre......we had a nice group on this tour from the US, Australia, Ireland... Dining out as a solo traveller can be a bit hit and miss. I've had amazing experiences dining out on my own - meeting locals, stumbling across hidden gems and enjoying some wonderful evenings. But sometimes its nice to have company. I joined the Walking Tapas & Wine Tour with Gourmet Madrid as a last minute decision.. and had one... More

We took the wine and tapas evening tour with Enrique. The square where we met him was easy to find and only a 10 minute walk from our hotel on Grand Via. The four bars that we visited with him were all very historic. Having come from Barcelona, we actually were a little "tapased out", but we were so wrong!... More

We took the gourmet tapas tour and had a great time. The food was wonderful, and the places chosen would be ones we would not have discovered ourselves. Our guide, Enrique, was informative, knowledgeable and good with the group. We would recommend this highly.

I took the Spanish winery tour and the tapas and wine evening tour, both with Enrique. For the small-group winery tour, he took us to a few wineries outside Madrid and gave us a detailed tour (with tasting) of each facility. Each place used a different production method, and the tours were given by the owners themselves, with Enrique translating.... More
