Staying in the hotel so naturally would venture upstairs. The views are incredible, well worth a visit for them! Really a beautiful city. The atmosphere was really nice, music was relaxed and not too loud you could hold a conversation and enjoy the music too. The drinks are expensive, but for one night to see the views and walk on the glass floor it's worth it. It's really romantic if you're with your other half.

Well located, at the top roof of hotel Puerta America Madrid, they have sky walk on the glass looking down 13 floors, prices match the location and quite relaxing after a long day.

SkyNight is on the 13th floor of Hotel Silken Puerta America. We stopped in twice during our stay, on a Thursday night and Saturday night.
Thursday night there were only a handful of patrons. We took a walk through and left. The sky walk on the glass floor perched 13 stories above the street was more entertaining.
Saturday night we assumed the pub would be packed and stopped in at about eleven. Again only a handful of patrons were on the premises. During the 30 minutes we stayed, the DJ played the same boring boom boom beat that we heard Thursday night. No incentive to get up and dance.
Hubby said the house tequila tasted like Sauza - sewer water. The house pinot grigio was equally distasteful. The highlight of our stay ... one of the waiters brought us handful of complimentary potato chips.
The decor is trendy, contemporary, interesting. The view is magnificent. It takes about ten minutes to absorb both, and then there's nothing to do.

I´ve been several times with friends in this terrace. I recommend it at summer night, awesome views and cool atmosphere.

I had the chance to be in Madrid a couple of months ago when a friend of mine was staying at the Silken Hotel. I went along with another mate and we had a couple of drinks on the balcony. The whole city of Madrid right in front of us, it was magic.
The lounge bar was a bit crowded and somewhere too smokey, but simply unique!
If you are in Madrid, please it is worth to go!

We visited the bar on Saturday 6th August while staying in the hotel. The space is nice but if you already have a room on a high floor then the view is nothing you haven't already seen. The music is a mix of new and recent heard so many times before tunes that range between pop, dance and alternative. The real let down is the frankly rip off prices for drinks (JD and Coke 15 euros). Corona and Heineken are 5 euros (reasonable price). It is also hyped as the in place for trendy locals but the crowd is lifeless (I have seen more and atmosphere at a funeral). For the price I'd honestly look elsewhere for a good time.

Great views of Madrid, 24€ for 2 drinks (one g&t one rum). No Tia Maria available. Stifling hot ladies toilet. Skywalk a must.
