It is the street that is most famous in Logroño for being full of bars with a lot of pinchos. It is a narrow street where a lot of people gather, especially on weekends and in the evenings, although at midday there are also quite a few.
I think that you should go to this street with people from Logroño who know the place because it happened to us that we went into 2 bars and the round was very expensive and then with people from Logroño we went into other bars with more normal prices. I'm used to going for pintxos in Euskadi and it seemed quite expensive to be honest.

It was very hot at the time, but the place gets worse with the air blowing towards the street and some smoke outlets as well. The food is very expensive and nothing special, I have eaten much better tapas in other places. The treatment was not very correct, it was not very full either. We didn't like it at all.

Yesterday we were having tapas dinner in laurel street. It is a nice experience that you can not miss. I come from a tourist area and I think the skewers are fine but the tapas and canes are overpaid. Just 5 minutes you have to see the cathedral of Maria de la Redonda, the church of Saint Bartholomew, the stone bridge and the iron bridge that are also beautiful to see.

We stayed in Logrono for 3 nights as we wanted to tour the Rioja. For the evenings, we decided to dine at or near Calle Del Laurel. We were spoilt for choice, there were bars, restaurants and bars cum restaurants galore! Some were meat specialists, some seafood, some vegetarian and there is nothing you cannot find. It was crowded, rowdy and fun

Most of the places open from 8 pm onwards and at 9 pm, the place teems with patrons. The food by and large was delicious and priced reasonably . My favourite is a piece of foie gras between 2 toasty pieces of baguette. That plus a glass of wine or beer was most satisfying. Needless to say wine and beer flowed the whole evening and it is about the best way to spend an evening in the Rioja

Calle de Laurel is full of bar with traditional food/tapas and amazing wine. Each bar have particular dishes and speciality, very overage price . Many Rioja wine which match perfectly with food. Everyone are friendly and charming, they give a good welcoming and good vibes. Logroño is a very nice city and Calle de Laure is where movida is . I recommend to try many bar as possible for the best degustation of the good&wine.

This is the place to visit for pinchos ie small dishes usually served on bread, and typical of Northern Spain (a little different to traditional tapas) in Logroño. The aim is to visit numerous places with different pinchos and wash down with local wine. The warm evenings have a friendly atmosphere and this is a lovely way to try different dishes over several hours.

We had pork Muranos pinchos (charcoal grilled skewers) at Bar Páganos (amazing), seafood at La Hez, and waygu beef slider and artichoke hearts covered in sliced fois at Taberna de Correos. A fantastic and reasonably priced way to spend an evening.

Lots of bars each with their own tapas speciality and very drinkable house wine.

The fun is in stopping at one, having its speciality and a glass of vino and moving on.

It’s busy, vibrant and most bars are excellent. We did have one disappointment which was the patatas bravas bar (see individual bar reviews) but mostly it was excellent.

Infamous for having the most bars per sq. metre than anywhere else in Spain, this is a short street in what is quite a big city of Logrono (for the region). Lots and lots of pinxtos bars (some better than others) with a good atmosphere. Well worth a visit if you are in Logrono.

Experience in my review should be lived at least once. We visited the street on a Monday and we really didn't find many people. In my review the skewers are fine and so is the wine. The price is quite high minimum 5€ glass + skewer.

We approached at night, with the idea of tapas, it was all full of people, both on the street and on the crossing, where everything is bars.
In the 2 that we were, the wine: good and the tapas... the very good gildas and what they do to you in the moment, like the padron peppers and the choco grilled very rich, the prepared as the battered cod improveable. But of course with the number of people there, they could not meet the demand.
Altogether, good places for tapas with family and friends and have a good time
