So much better than San Sebastián for pinchos. Pace yourself - no more than 2 pichos at one place despite how good they are.

This street is awesome! Make sure to get the patatas and mushrooms. So much to choose from here and very reasonably priced. A glass of wine and tapas is usually around 3 euro.

You can have a great time on this street after 7 PM or so. Honestly outside of this I dont think Logrono has much going for it.....but this place is a blast.

The best way to eat in Logrono is to do a pintxos crawl. Go to several different places and eat their specialty with a glass of wine or beer, then move to another place and repeat until you're full...or drunk or out of money!

With jet lag and a bad cold, we just needed early nights. The pinchos bars open at 8:30 or 9 pm. There were a handful that catered to tourists like us but for the most part this street doesn’t get busy till later at night.

The place to go to try some wine or beer with some tapas to eat. The street gets really busy so it’s good to plan in advance where you want to go and what to try.

Fun little street in the old part of town. Lined with tapas or pincho bars. Crowded and lively at night. A fun place to have a few drinks and eat some pinchos. Highly recommend.

It's worth every good word people are saying. Best ones we had: Pasion Por Ti - excellent, my favorite, not too greasy, great vine, Bar Soriano - amazing mushrooms with shrimp on bread, they only serve that with a good wine, worth it! Blanco y...More

One day -- Timing question (4 Replies)
We'll be spending one night in Logrono and I had a question to help with my itinerary timing of that day. Dining wise, we'd like to experience the Calle del Laurel and some wine/bar hopping with food as well. Is it best to visit this area earlier in the afternoon or later in the evening? Ideally, we'd like a full day of sightseeing in the area, check into the hotel later and have a long, later evening wine bar hopping & tapas eating. But if things quiet down earlier, we can shift...More

tapas time is arround 20:00 in the evening until 23:00 hope it helps you, you could consider a nice meal at a place like amelibia in Laguardia or Hector Orive in Páganos arround 13:00 and then tapas dinner at night.

Calle del Laurel - closed any day of the week? (2 Replies)
I read something somewhere - which I cannot find now - something about restaurants being closed on a particular day of the week (Monday?). I looked at a few on the Calle del Laurel website and they appear to be open Monday. Just wanted to double check with anyone who had been there recently that its business as usual on Monday, as this is probably the day we will be in Logrono. Thanks! MG
