The last of the Mohicans.
Jun 2019
This bar is open late, when most of the bars are closed. As Fenimore Cooper would say, the Last of the Mohicans. It makes sense that I ended my tour of the Calle Laurel bars here. What differentiates D. O Laurel from its counterparts other than the time of operation is the form of submission. Tastefully. Everything else is the same as everywhere else. Great Rioja and delicious pinchos.

Great pintxos spot on Calle de Laurel. Lively atmosphere!

This spot had exactly what I was looking for: good selection of pintxos, good service, good location, and great atmosphere. Good for some mid day food and drinks.

Special thanks to Dani, he did an awesome job.

Recommend a visit.

Flavorful, elaborate tapas
Aug 2019 • Couples
We would consider this one of the best tapas restaurants in Spain. The tapas are elaborate and very tasty. We shared a variety of things and each was delicious. The wine selection is excellent.

Yet another decent bar in this superb street.

We came in here on the basis that there was room at the bar.
Friendly service, good beer and tasty food.

A lovely break from the Camino
Jul 2017 • Couples
While walking the Road to Santiago, my husband and I stopped in Logrono specifically for tapas. We still had a long way to go so we figured this would be the perfect break before walking more hours to the next town.

D.O Laurel had the tastiest tapas on the road and we tried several places. We ordered the rabbit chops which were super cute, creative and yummy and a few other tapas. Even though we were full by the time we arrived to this place we ate all of our food. Stop here and have the rabbit chops!

Not crowded and good!
Jul 2016 • Couples
Lots of places on this street to have food but this was a little less crowded. Walked in. Sat at the bar and ate some food. Really have no idea what we ate but it was good anyway. Sangria in a bottle was great but 5 euros. Should have just had a glass of wine for 2. So many places to choose from. Worth a stop!

Tapas Streets, Logrono
Apr 2015 • Couples
A must do visit for anyone in the area. Three streets of Tapas Bars all specialising in one thing or another (few cross-overs) and all 'art on a plate' ...... completely delicious and not at all expensive. Buy a drink, choose a plate(s) eat, drink and move on. Just great experience. My favourite; toast, onion confit, Brie and strawberries!

The best of the Spanish food culture
Nov 2013 • Friends
This is a unique place in the country of Spain and around the world. There isn´t another place that can be compared in terms of showing the best Spanish gastronomy. More than 7 streets full of little bars, each one especialized in one tapa. Amazing!! Cheap and very high quality!
