We popped into the Cathedral on a recent visit. Having the cathedral at Bourgos a few days before, this one was a bit of a disappointment. It is obviously a great deal smaller than Bourgos but from the moment we entered, the door held open...More

Unfortunately the main Cathedral of Logroño was closed while we stayed in the city. It was a pity as we had no chance to visit the interior. From the outside it looks nice though.

Visiting Najera, visiting this monastery is a must. You almost feels the itching on your arms, as you realize the importance of it throughout history. I just don't know why the Spanish never can get a decent guide in English.

I loved the building even though the church was closed at the time of my visit. It's still a great place to photograph on the outside.

Dating from the 16th to 18th century, this cathedral is dedicated to the worship of the Virgin Mary. It has a couple of beautiful altars, and its towers host stork nests. The interior is quite dark.

We decided to take a 14 days 'camino' walk and we stop in Logrono. that is where we find this great church. On the plaza we had lunch. A wonderful day along the long walk!
