We booked online directly on the website for the yellow boat and there was a good discount compared to other sites. Decided to book a morning trip at 11am and I’m glad we did as it would have got hotter throughout the day and might have been unpleasant. If you want to hear about the dolphins make sure you stand up the front of the boat. We saw 2 different pods of dolphins, but the children were also fascinated by the jumping tuna as well. Clean boat with toilet and sanitizer, friendly staff and the trip lasted around 1hr 15 mins. Plenty of time to take pictures and videos.

What can I say.. This was one of my bucket list to do's.. Go see dolphins in their natural habitat.
We decided to use dolphin adventure, as their rival company albeit boasts about their trips and the smaller more intimate groups they provide, their boat was tiny and didn't fill us with confidence unfortunately,.. So as I get extremely sea sick, can have anxiety attacks, I decided this trip was better for my needs with a bigger boat.
We had checked the wind speeds for Gibraltar so made sure it was a calm day for us sailing, and with the aids of sickness tablets and sickness wrist bands I braved the lifetime adventure dream.
We really cannot fault or praise this company enough, they 99% guarantee you will see dolphins and if you don't you go again for free.
The boat was fantastic, clean and spacious, there were about 30 plus people on board but everyone got a seat and we all had a view of the dolphins and all got our photographs.
You had great commentary from the crew and information on the species and I was that overwhelmed with emotion that I cried when seeing them for real, and swimming freely, happy, and they had delight in showing off for us, jumping and twirling. It really was a joy to witness!
I desperately wanted to go again during our honeymoon stay in Gibraltar, but we didn't have time, but we will definitely be going back to Gibraltar and going again on the trips with dolphin adventure.
A huge thank you to the crew for all their fantastic work ensuring us the passengers have a brilliant time, and it really was a lifetime experience for me and I'm externally grateful to you all.

It sounds like you tried everything to keep the sea sickness at bay . You made the correct choice with Dolphin Adventure , our catamaran vessels are so much more stable than our competitors mono hull boat and the size makes a big difference . Quick tip for sea sickness . Ginger is a well known for preventing nausea .

Dolphin Adventures is a must while you are visiting Gibraltar! 👍The tours run year round and the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable! Our boat was full and we had amazing views of the Rock and the Airport Runway.
A special thanks to Angie and Avi for such a memorable tour. I loved that we were witnessing the dolphins in their natural environment and seeing different types of dolphins! 🐬.

These guys were really good at their job. Very knowledgeable, environmentally aware, efficient, reasonably priced and we saw loads of dolphins including the one bottlenose one in the pod. Plus you get 10% off in the surrounding cafes using the ticket.

I think we were expecting a boat ride out to see a couple of pods of dolphins...nothing could have prepared us for the sheer amount of dolphins that paid us a visit! They were everywhere, lots of baby dolphins too.
Great clean boat, adhering to all Covid safety measures with very knowledgeable staff!!

What a terrible experience 😒
The person that booked us told we would see dolphins well my family only saw 3 as the people started to push us to get to the front to see there was alot of people on the boat. We also sailed late as we was waiting for a big group.
My family and i was not happy with the boat ride.
We do not recommend this dolphin boat trip.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed by what’s been happening in the world recently, book a trip with these guys to see the caves and the dolphins! I tell you what, it’s made my year. Fantastic company too with very friendly and knowledgable staff. Can’t recommend it enough! I haven’t heard my teenage son get excited about anything recently but he was so excited by this. Thank you Dolphin Adventure!

These trips around the Bay of Gibraltar run regularly on one of two small or medium sized boats; tiny against some of the massive tankers and container ships in the Bay. They are well staffed, with an experienced and friendly skipper, and two other people from the operator who provide a good safety demonstration and were very knowledgeable about the large schools of dolphins we got to see. They have plentiful seating (all outside) but are not easily accessible if you have .limited mobility. TIP: everyone rushes to the front of the boat for the best photos but towards the end of the 90-minute trip, when the boat starts to turn back to Gibraltar, my tip would be to go to the back, because when the skipper guns the engines the dolphins like to wave surf after the boat, and you get some amazing photos.

Most enjoyable trip out into the bay to see dolphins. crew very considerate of the animals and there was plenty of time to see the animals in their natural habitat. Not easy to take photos though. You have to be quick lol.

Nice joy ride and most of the time we didn't see any Dolphins but the captain didn't give up.
Finally, hep presto, we saw a pod of dolphins including the babies !
Very nice and pleasant to watch them in their natural habitat heading out of the Bay of Gib and into the straits of Gib.
Clear sunny day was also quite enjoyable & relaxing trip.

with the combined ticket is it a return on the cable car? can i do cable car after dolphin trip or is that up to me? just choose dolphin trip time ? sorry it doesn't seem clear on website through trip advisor

Two separate tickets! You book the time for your dolphin trip. And you can use the cable car ticket whenever you want on that day (and yes it is a return ticket up and down)!

In case we book tickets to the boat and a cable car, it is possible to leave a car near the office after the boat trip, and then go to the cable car. How far it is?

Hi. Parking is available 50m from us in The World Trade Centre or Ocean Village. If you are only coming to do these tours it may be better to park in Spain then walk 10 minutes to us then 20 minutes through the town to the cable car. This avoids possible queues at the frontier.

hi i am looking at the twin trips dolphin and top of the rock cable car are they both disabled friendly.My wife has a small fold able walking aid that she would need on both trips.

Hi, we are in Marina Bay, the yellow boat next to the Sunborn hotel. Chances of seeing dolphins in June is normally 85% with a complimentary ticket offered if you do not see any.
