This site is history. When you walk between the grave markers please read every memorial. Take only photographs and leave only footprints.

Although Lord Nelson's remains are actually back in jolly old England, there is a small cannon monument here in his memory. This is indeed called a "cemetery," however, many of the dead were actually either lost or buried at sea. They are memorialized here in this sweet little graveyard with actual tombstones, some of which were moved from another location... More

Very small but although called Trafalgar Cemetrary. Only a very few were killed in that battle and buried there. Most of the others died of the plague.

Worth visiting for 15 minutes or so to read about the Battle of Trafalgar which took place near here. One or two interesting headstones of sailors killed at sea.

It was a pleasure to visit Trafalgar Cemetery again and notice a gentleman clearing the weeds etc to keep it neat and tidy.

Only two of the residents of this cemetery actually died at Trafalgar! The rest all seemed to have died from fever on garrison duty at the Rock!

Small very old cemetery at the very end of Main Street. Gardens are lovely and well maintained. Only a couple of graves of sailors from the Battle of Trafalgar but well worth the visit

Visiting cemeteries may not be on most folks list, but this one is worth a visit. Situated just outside the main city walls, it is an oasis of calm. Well maintained and full of history!

I found this disappointing. It was not calm or peaceful being right on a busy road junction. It was full of people and very small. Not worth the walk along Main Street to see this unless you are heading to the cable car/botanical gardens.
