Nice Avenue to have some shopping and have a walk with your friends or partner. Also have a few caffes where you can have a drink and continue seeing some shops.

The architecture of the City is beautiful and the streets are clean and nice. The sculptures of Vigo are interesting and I could use some time standing there and just look at them, to try to understand the artistiske mind behind them... and I really...More

Stop in the tourist office and pick up the pamphlet on walking tours of Vigo. We went on 2 different tours which were laid out. There are pictures and details about some of the buildings. Building and iron gratings/balconies were quite picturesque.

An odd structure in the town. Not seen at it's best on a rainy April Sunday. With the town mostly closed it was a bit drab.

It is interesting but much less historical than I expected, it is more interesting historically speaking to move towards the Castle, there are more interesting constructions. There is plenty to be done to regenerate the old city, they never thought it had tourism potential, and...More

Very small with nothing of interest compared to its neighbor Pontevedra. It does not have any outstanding monument, it does not have a great interest. After having visited the city of Pontevedra it was a disappointment. I wouldn't waste time here.

This is a very hilly and nice old area off the port and well worth a wander. There are a couple of squares and lots of nice restaurants.

Vigo is really small so you can cover everywhere by foot. They have a good train system so you can walk to either station and get to Santiago de Compostela and other surrounding places of interest. Oyster street is very... More
