We were walking back from dinner to our hotel and heard the music in an otherwise deserted square, so joined the group of people who were enjoying the music, with a touch of humour. Lively and entertaining, it was a perfect ending to the evening.

We've been to Santiago many times and each time we must go listen and watch and participate with them in front of the Cathedral. They are very entertaining and very talented musicians who obviously enjoy performing and making great music. It is free (unless you buy one of their CD's or make a contribution) and as good as any concert. Enjoy!…

I’ve been visiting Santiago since I was a baby and have always loved watching la tuna perform. I’m now an adult and my children enjoy it as much as I do. They are very talented and know how to engage the crowd. Always worth seeing them when in Santiago.

It has been so funny and nice to see. I will keep the CD and show to my friends. I didn't know that is an old tradition from middle Ages...
