It's a nice experience after walking el Camino to finally reach the cathedral and the final destination of el Camino. The entrance is free. There are lots of architecture and sculptures to look at. A beautiful building.

The Cathedral is beautiful! We were there a few different times & at different times of the day. We were there for two different Masses when they used the giant swinging incense - it is impressive & it lifts your heart.... More

One of the worlds most beautiful cathedrals is waiting for you at the end of your Camino. Truly a spiritual center for all Christians. A deeply spiritual venue that has amazingly restored architecture from centuries ago. The masses are all said in Spanish but you can understand everything they're saying. The mass schedules change every day so you have to... More

The cathedral is a beautiful, welcoming sacred place for the weary pilgrims and the curious visitors who attend the noon daily Mass. The altar is very ornate and the large incense burner suspended from the ceiling is swung over the congregants in a majestic manner at the end of Mass. The chapels are magnificent and you have an opportunity to... More

We walked from Sarria to Santiago and had opportunity to meet folks from around the world. Great experiences and have been considering doing a long trip someday, although the rest of the family is slower to warm to that idea.
