I stayed here once a few years ago now, and it was a wonderful experience. Such a peaceful hotel with lovely rooms - not large but well furnished and with good bathrooms. As I have written elsewhere, I prefer the San Francisco hotel for the...More

Treat yourself, especially if you have completed any portion of El Camino. You will not be disappointed. The breakfast alone is worth the stay.

Stunning, breathtaking building. Rooms are basic but perfect, would happily recommend this very central location and stunning building.

As part of the Parador it is excellently maintained and well documented. Visit it as part of the tour of the Parador. It is an excellent tour, full of history and architecture. Free to guests or on minimal payment to visitors.

As a reward for walking the Caminho Portuguese and as a belated birthday present for my wife, we stayed our first night in Santiago at this magnificent hotel. The ONLY negatives I can think of are that its beauty means you feel compelled to wander...More
