I walked from O'Cebreiro to Santiago with a friend in May 2016. Garry customized our self-guided trip for the days we wanted and arranged a few days at the beginning of the trip to start in Leon. We had terrific guides and drivers throughout our pre-Camino days as well as afterwards when we stayed in Santiago for a few days.... More

I and two other friends walked the Camino Frances from O Cebreiro (159kms). Garry provided suggestions on the itinerary and arranged our trip. He was most helpful in guiding us on flights and other logistics. Garry provided us with the most excellent accommodations and we were more than happy with the lodgings, the food and our cab drivers/guides in Santiago.... More

Garry planned a two week unguided walking tour for my 70 year old dad and I. He was easy to get in contact with and planned everything down to the smallest details. He sent us itineraries and maps and kept on contact with us during our entire time there. Everyone knows Garry at the hotels and they all love him... More

I first heard about Garry from a couple of Australian pilgrims in June 2014. They were so happy with everything Garry helped them with, they insisted if I ever had the need I should use his services. Since then, Garry has arranged two pilgrimages, one hiking from No. Portugal to Santiago Spain. The other was this July hiking from St.... More

Garry arranged a self-guided 10 day camino cycling tour for my wife and I on very short notice in July 2016. We enjoyed everything from the hotel arrangements, luggage transfer, bicycle recommendation, to the meals - his attention to detail was truly amazing, and his efficiency and organization skills were very impressive - we've travelled a lot, and never had... Two years ago we used Garry with great satisfaction from Roncesvalles to Burgos. This year we resumed our self-guided Camino in Burgos and he continued to provide excellent service at a reasonable cost. He worked with us on combining bicycling the meseta with hiking through Galicia, including suggesting a very good bike rental shop in Burgos. He was receptive to... More

The Camino had been on our list for several years. We had looked at several of the big operators but had found their products to be restrictive and expensive. Then a friend put us onto Garry Budin and Spanish Adventures, After an initial email we had an email dialogue and Garry came up with a most suitable itinerary and at... More

Garry Budin certainly knows the several Camino routes to Santiago de Compostela. Following a Skype call to discuss the alternatives he tailor made our itinerary, booking some very special hotels on the way. Not only that, everywhere we went the hoteliers spoke highly of Garry and treated us very well. Gary stayed in touch throughout and helped us out when... More

Garry's a real gem if you are interested in a self-guided Camino and would like an experts guidance in assisting your with lodging, luggage, logistics, etc. While Garry leads many groups on the Camino during the year, his Spanish Adventures is designed to assist the pilgrim/tourist who values Garry's expertise in planning and organizing a Camino.
