I'm from the US, and in Spain to study with a college group. I went to Secrets of Galicia with my group to see una "Quemada" ("burning")- a Galician tradition en which they burn alcohol in order to be closer to the spiritual world. The owners were fantastic- incredibly nice and they made sure that we learned and understood what was happening (they also spoke English). With the ceremony you get to try the alcohol and a delicious cookie! It was one of my favorite things that I did in Santiago de Compostela while I was there for two weeks.

Turned away twice...Upbeat street food like indoor-setting, few food stalls with no menus. Food looked good and we explained that would be happy to take our foods as there was no place to sit. We have been told no food can be ordered without QR code reading app/and code displayed on tables only. Tried again two days later at lunch, place was open but zero customers. Young guy waiter just could not care less. Dragging shoulders for every questions. Luckily, less modern , traditional restaurants were still happy to serve tourists.
