Set near the Placa del font, the Ajuntament de Tarragona sits proudly above. Wonderful building. Lovely area.

Tarragona’s City Hall. Grand building located in busy, attractive square lined with cafes, bars and restaurants. Be sure to have a look inside the City Hall to see the massive stone boat on display in one of the two courtyards.

This is a busy square consisting of numerous bars and restaurants. I watched the Spain England football match in The Barcelona FC bar which was extremely enjoyable on the Gin and Tonics at 5 euros each. I later sat outside one of the restaurants for a burger and chips.

our hotel was located just in this square. I have been a bit disappointed, i mean, the sqaure is very picturesque but not much life around...too calm, too slow
