On a visit to sitges with some fabulous work colleagues we were told we would be visiting the casa Bacardi. Wow, so glad we did. It was a great couple of hours. It is only a small tour but very interesting, especially as Bacardi himself was born in sitges, and his family wanted to give something back to the town.... More

Since we were going to visit Sitges (South of Barcelona), we decided to visit the Casa Bacardi facility. Small presentation room had a good Cliff's Notes version of the Bacardi history. Afterwards we were given a presentation on the proper way to prepare a Bacardi Mojito (better finished product than what most bartenders turn out !). Note that Bacardi is... More

Decided to go last minute and very happy we did. English tour at 4pm, £6 for students is an absolute bargain! You get a small tour of the history of Bacardi, the distilling process and then a cocktail making class with a free drink (made by yourself) at the end. Most cocktails cost more than the entry alone!! Everyone was... More

We traveled with a tour to Sitges to visit Casa Bacardi, the birthplace of Don Facundo Bacardí Massó, the founder of Bacardi. A brief informative tour of the process of creating Bacardi rum. Ending with a mojito. Nice! After watching the master bartenders in action, my mojito making skills can only be better.

If you are in Sitges you should take the opportunity to visit the Bacardi museum and tour. They do an English speaking tour at 4:30pm, the museum is only open fri, sat and Sunday and you can book on to the tour at the front desk, there are only spaces for 30people on the tour (the day we did the... Book on-line for a tour (English) at 4pm Fri, Sat, Sun. lasts 45 mins, not too much information so easy to take in, taste Mojito and Cuba Libre, would really recommend as a break away from the sun for an hour.

If you have one hour free, you can learn about the company origins, you can test diferent rom licors and you can make your own Cocktail; all this in a nice old market buildings and explained with a frienly staff.

The museum is really nice and a very good location in Sitges. At the end they show you how to make a good Mojito and then you can do it on your own. After that you take a seat outside with your Mojito and enjoy the sun.

Spend nice time with your friends. Museo tour Bacardi's history and today, no too long. It ends teaching how to make some famous Bacardi drinks. Great value for your money.

Having visited Sitges many times this was our first visit to the casa Barcardi which I had always wondered why it was in the middle of Sitges given it comes from Cuba? I'm not going to tell you the reason why as you will have to visit to find out. The tour is short and sweet but the cocktail making... More
