An average museum - also because it does not need to up its game as it has a captive market being the only museum in Montserrat.

Arguably I shouldn't have bothered with the Montserrat Museum. Not because it's a bad museum, far from it on fact. Rather it's a case of being almost Museum'd out, so to speak. This said, there's a lot to see in this beautifully presented facility with some true gems and some interesting surprises (you have to attend to see what I'm... More

Just consists loads of art work. Quite dull. Such a large museum with not much historical artifacts. If you like pictures of bowls of fruit you'll be fine. I wasn't impressed with it at all.

Well worth a visit. I was very impressed with the varied collection. The Museum is easy to navigate & very pleasant to enjoy at a leisurely pace. I was very glad of the opportunity to visit.

Great museum. Many works by very famous artists. I got the entrance + audio guide and it was €7. Leisurely walk around the museum, not crowded at all, which is nice when trying to view art. Worth it if you're in Montserrat.

For a very small museum this one is simply a gem. Yes there are a number of religious paintings, and there are works by El Greco, Caravaggio, Monet, Dali, Sisley, Degas, Picasso. There are also a number of artifacts. The museum is outstanding and not to be missed. Our entire family really enjoyed it.

You don't expect to find such an Aladddin's cave of incredible paintings up near the Abbey but be prepared to be amazed. Just beautiful,.

They have Picasso's first painting he did at age 13. Great variety and very interesting and very well done. We went twice and saw new things the second time. Do not miss it!

I visited mount Montserrat museu with a tour group. It was a long drive, but what a surprise when we arrived. Beautiful buildings with old history. The museum is beautiful and a artist display was available. You can also buy plenty of souvenirs.
