We had a great experience with Paddle in Spain and ROC ROI in Vilanova I la Geltru. Lucas and his crew helped us put on a successful day of sea kayaking and boat building for 41 Intel executives going through their annual leadership training. Their professional help was invaluable and their service and equipment were of the highest standards. All of our participants expressed a great experience. We will certainly return when the sea oriented activities are needed. Muchas gracias for a great time!

This is a great attraction even if the weather isn't ideal. In fact, it was better being a little overcast and drizzling. First - i have to say that they waited an hour for us. I was absolutely and pleasantly surprised. We drove to Costa Brava from Barcelona (unfortunately the directions were not ideal) for a three hour sea kayaking trip and told them along the way that we would be late because we got lost. The group waited for us (kudos to the group as well as the guides!). We were very lucky. the guides were very professional in their instructions and guidance. Two people (me included) flipped over and they were there in seconds to help us (one guide in the kayak with us and the other accompanying us in a speedboat for help and snacks). The trip wasn't overly difficult, but the current doesn't just bring you "down stream". You have to work to get where you are going - but that was the point. We had a great time and I highly recommend this activity for those who want to be active on thier vacations. Just make sure you get good directions to the starting point. :-)

We spent with our 8 and 10 years old kids a half-day rafting trip on the Noguera Pallaresa in Spain end of July 2012.

Despite the usual difficulty to communicate when you are traveling, we booked through Paddle In Spain website and they contacted us very quickly by both email and phone to confirm our booking.

The river is very nice to ride, and still exciting at this time of the year. Would have love to do it in hydrospeed...!

The setting is amazing and we loved the region. We started from Llavrosi and ended in Rialp, both very nice little towns. Equipment provided was of very good quality and the installations are clean and easy to find.

Our guide was simply amazing!! He made the run safe, but exciting at the same time!!

Only one negative comment about the setup. It was a very hot and sunny day during the holidays, so they were like three boats to prepare at the same time (around 20 riders). There's a 5 min. van ride before arriving to the "launch point", and we were all sweating/suffering during the van transfer with our life jackets, helmets and all the stuff. If I would have a recommendation to make, wait until you arrive at the river before putting on all the clothes, otherwise, you'll suffer during transfer!

Overall, we love the experience and will repeat it for sure!

A group of ten decided to use 'www.PaddleinSpain.com (Venta del Moro) for a weekend adventure.
On retrospect this proved to be a poor decision due to the incompetence of the various and numerous companies and individuals involved!
From start to finish, we were ill-informed as to what was happening to us and when! No one seemed to know or care.
On our first morning, we waited for a guide from the white water rafting experience to collect us. When no one appeared, we scoured the village and eventually had to make our way (40kms) to the river. (We were promised transport). On arrival at the river location, no one bothered to explain what was due to happen except for toilet facilities. These we several groups of well used trees and bushes. One for men, the other for women..............
Having completed the water experience, there were NO facilities to get dry/changed, just muddy mat on the floor. Long drive back to the accomodation.
Having made it back to the original village venue at Venta del Moro, the BBQ lunch that was booked and paid for was non-existent! We were instructed to come back EIGHT hours later for dinner which we did ask for or want. An argument between Carlos at AvenSports and Paddle in Spain ensued.
This booking, agreed and paid for (€138 per person) was clearly listed 'white water rafting followed by BBQ by the river then by paint-balling, one after the other'.
Judith at www.paddleinspain.com clearly cannot organise 'a booze up in a brewery'.
Luckily, we got sufficiently drunk to enjoy ourselves and can now laugh at the whole event.
Avoid 'paddleinspain' like the plauge!

Thank you so much for your review and to let us know about your weekend program. We are deeply sorry to hear you were not fully satisfied with your experience with our organisation and its for this reason and with pleasure I'll proceed on respond all your comments and feedback. -we can assure you that from the first time you contact us til the end we were attending you and taking care of you, and responding all your doubts, and helping anytime with your booking procedures. From our website you can see a full description of your program and what is included and what is not. In fact you ask for a customised offer and we prepare only for you and your group a pdf document file send it to you by email, with all details and full description about what you were booking. -Our local guide says that he have talked with two people from your group that morning and said to them that they were waiting for you to go. We never promise you that transport to where the activity takes place was included, everybody on that location is going by their own car, and the distance from Venta del Moro to the river is 19km not 40km. -Our local guide Cirsitan explain to you that morning where to leave your cars and recommend before start to go to the toilet , and yes you have booked an activity that is done in a natural environment where there is not facilities, toilets or buildings, because is in the river, and takes place in a Natural Park. -Yes, you are right we made a mistake, and we are very sorry about it, because originally we have booked for you a BBQ lunch but our local organize all your BBQ for a dinner. As soon as you have called PaddleinSpain, we offered a solution in a minute, and you accept to get your BBQ cost refund back to your credit card (and it was the first thing we did on Monday). -We are afraid to tell you that is not like this: You have booked : 2nts accommodation in a house with 2 activities and BBQ lunch (this cost was refunded to you ) so the total cost of the full package was : 118€ (2nts accommodation+2activites). -Your comments about our team and our organisation are very offensive coming from you, and actually we never treat people like this, no matter how, or status, respect and good faith is our main goal. As we mention before, we are very sorry, and we feel embarrassing for all this situation and this bad impression you'v got from us, because we always take care of our customers and love our job and if there is something that does not satisfy our customers we run fast to solve it always. Once again, please accept our sincere apologies, and we are very sorry because we could not exceed you expectations. Have a good one.

We booked a three-activity voucher with Paddle in Spain prior to our holiday based on pretty clear information on their web site. We only planned to spend three nights in the area so wanted to ensure that we would make the best use of time. We couldn't decide on the third activity but they were very happy to book us on the first two activities (rafting and canyoning) and allow us to choose the third activity when we got there and could see what was on offer.
On the day it was very organised - top quality gear exactly as per the pre-trip info and a very charming man overseeing the booking in etc. We were offered several different 'third' activities and opted for horse riding, which was confirmed there and then by a phone call.
The activities themselves were fantastic - we are a family of four and were in a raft by ourselves with our guide who had us jumping off into the river in slower, deeper parts and whooping with delight in the white water sections. Canyong (my favourite) was excellent too, plenty of slides and abseils. Again we had a dedicated guide for the four of us. Horse riding on the second day was much calmer but really nice through some quiet lanes and villages.
I would thoroughly recommed these people - they made us feel safe but gave us plenty of thrills too. As a bonus they had a guy following the rafting and the canyoning, taking good quality photos. You have to pay extra for those if you want them but get the chance to browse them first to decide. They're not cheap but I think they were worth it - we got around 150 photos sent same day as a digital download.

We were 3 beginners. Our lesson was private. Our instructor was excellent, helping each of us at our individual skill level. After requesting the booking, the office was quick to respond with details and confirm. And the free drink was the best ending!

We used Paddle in Spain to book 3 trips during our holiday on the Costa Tropical. We started with a sea kayak tour from Burriana Beach in Nerja, it was a 3 hour trip along beautiful coastline with caves, and included a snorkelling stop where there was plenty of fish and coral to look at. 2 days later we went canyoning to the Rio Verde again booking through Judith at Paddle in Spain, our teenage boys thought this trip was amazing, as did my husband and I. Before the trip I was a little anxious that I'd be too afraid to do the jumps, and for the big ones I was, however, our guide (Raul) was so patient and did a couple of jumps with me, and for the 2 I was not brave enough to jump he found me a way round to a lower point. It was an exhilarating trip, the scenery is stunning and we all had a brilliant day.
Last trip was SUP again back in Nerja, we did the sunset trip and it was great, the temperature was perfect, we did more snorkelling and the boys jumped off the roof of a cave.
The SUP/kayak trip includes photos the instructors take on GOPro which is great, and my son took his ThiEye for the canyoning.
I would highly recommend Paddle in Spain and the companies they work with for these trips.

It was a gift for my boyfriend and we went to Nerja to experience our first kayak trip. Unfortunately, sea conditions were bad at 1pm, so we had to wait until 4pm to see, if they would get better - and they did! So we were a group of 4 and 2 guides and we had a lot of fun! They take pictures and are very friendly, helpful and tell a lot of interesting stories about the surroundings and the coast! I would definately recommend it to anybody!

20 people in a stag group from the UK. The trip was incredible, the guides were superb the setting stunning. It was so much fun. The booking agent arranged the bus for us and beers for after the event. It was quite a bit further from Madrid than we had anticipated but despite that I would do again in a heart beat. One of the best days out ever, incredible fun, would recommend it to anybody.
