My wife & I hired 2 road bikes for 2 days recently from this company and would highly recommend them. The bikes were handed over in spotless condition, almost like new. All the arrangements were organised through email prior to arrival and the collection & return were seamless.

4 days cycling in Girona, made all the better for the help, tips and company of Paul and the Campo Bicicleta team. This was the second visit made to the city, unfortunately didn't get quite the weather we were hoping for, but the experience of riding a Spanish or rather Catalonian sportive was something special. I can't think of many a British
sportive that could have matched up to it for a combination of organisation, atmosphere, local character, and stiff mountain climbing! Another year and maybe we'll get up that last climb. The accommodation arranged by CB was excellent, the Hotel Ultonia comfortable with great provision for cyclists, breakfasts all you could want/eat. The city, landscape and roads, though busy around town, are great for cycling, and particularly out east (Els Angels) quickly into the countryside and hills. Couldn't recommend Girona and Campo Bicicleta enough, hopefully retuning next year for another bash up the hills!

We have visited twice and would be happy to return with Campo sorting all local needs. I cannot recommend Paul Kneppers and his helpful team enough. The area offers you a wide choice of routes and Girona itself is a great town to wander with narrow cobbled streets running down from historic battlements and restaurants at every price point.

We had a very nice cycling trip with Campo Bicicleta. Everything was perfect: top quality bikes, capable and friendly guides, custom made trips, and a nice apartment in the city centre. We can definitely recommend this organisation!

We went with 4 guys for 4 days to Girona to cycle. It's a paradise for cyclist. Nice roads, quiet, you can climb but also keep it relaxed. This all in combination with great spanish cuisine. The bike a Bianchi was great. I give the measurement and once there the bike fit perfect. The apartment was in the city located. Everything you wish as cyclist is there. Bidon on the bici. Box with materials and a pump. So you can travel easy/light.

Paul and his associates really know Girona. They also take the time to know their clients and structure the rides appropriately. For me they know I enjoy climbing so they prepared a ride list that included Els Angels, Rocacorba and Mare de del Mont(which I'll need to redo on account of rain). They also structured a beautiful ride by the coast. Unlike some other camps they really went the extra mile, arranging a fantastic hotel stay at Hotel Nord, transport to and from the airport and helped with packing and unpacking my prized bicycle. Can't recommend Campo Bicicleta highly enough and can't reccomend Girona enough as a cycling destination which has fantastic routes, scenery, climate, food and touring. Anyone who has done Mallorca and looking for a change ought to give Paul Kneppers a try for a new experience.

I was travelling alone and wanted a few days cycling in Girona, having heard what a great cycling destination it is. I've had varied experiences on hiring bikes and Campo Bicicleta was the only organisation I found there that was prepared to change a stem to suit my position and set the bike up so I was comfortable. (They take all the measurements before you arrive). With minor tweaks the Bianchi was perfect. They also organised my apartment; I asked for the breakfast package which had everything I needed, included a packet of raisins, which was a pleasant surprise for both cereal topping and rider fuel. Great routes were provided and lots of suggestions for both on and off the bike. Their attention to detail and good communication meant I didn't have to worry about anything but enjoying my day. I had one ride with Paul and they made sure I had everything I needed for my self-guided days, including maps and Garmin with loaded routes. I wouldn't hesitate to return to Campo Bicicleta.

I travelled with my girlfriend to Girona and tried two days bike sessions with Paul. Everything was organized and very well prepared. Our plan included accomodation and full bike service, so we just needed to take our clothes and be ready to enjoy the bike ride.
We had a mountain bike session where Paul took us to amazing tracks and gave us really good tips to improve our riding. The second day we tried road bikes for first time ever and did a beatiful tour around Girona area.

With a group of 13 people we had the best time with Paul. Really lived like a pro; enjoyed the lovely apartment in the midst of the old town, the great rides from coast to mountains, and the professional tips & tricks Paul gave on his way! If you love cycling and Spanish life, go here!
