We rented 4 bikes for a day long ride in Girona. From first contact to bike pick-up it was a perfect experience. Mark was responsive, friendly and helpful from my first email. 4 great bikes (bike bags, repair tools etc all provided were dropped off at our hotel, minimal paperwork- locks, easy GPS app to guide our 20 mile ride through the beautiful country side of Girona.. Bikes were picked up from hotel when we got back, Can not recommend this company highly enough. The bike ride was one of the highlights of our trip- and our teens agree!~ Amazingly seamless customer service.

Mark and Shelley created the most fantastic custom cycling holiday for us, through the most beautiful medieval villages of Catalunya, like Besalu, Santa Pau, Olot, Girona, Pals, Peratallda and many many more less famous ones included in our wish list. We crossed green valleys, forests, farmland with fields of apple orchards, sunflowers, vineyards and olive groves. We did around 50km a day, always exited, never feeling tired. We enjoyed the company of locals in our stops, the great catalan food and culture and stayed in owesome accomodation.
Mark tested himself our custom route before we arrived to make sure eveything would run smoothly and even waited for us in Figueres to visit the Dali museum at the beginning of our trip.
GPS/app was great, the e-bikes easy to charge and fun to ride.
This was our first cycling holiday in Europe. Thank you Mark and Shelley for making it so memorable! We can't wait for the next one!!

We walked as a group of 4 friends through Catalonia with Cycle Catalan. Mark and Shelly were very organised and knowledgeable about the trip, and full of great suggestions. Everything went off without a hitch, all the accomodation exceeded expectations, and the navigation app we were provided with was very useful and easy to use.
We had a wonderful time and would definitely be back again! Thanks again Mark and Shelly for helping organise a wonderful week of walking!

You feel at ease the from the first minute you meet with Mark and Shelley . They responded very efficiently to our inquiry to make a custom route for us that included the most picturesque medieval villages ! The E bikes we rented were in top condition ; You can easily clock 100 km if you know how to use gears and assistance mode and still have something in reserve. Awesome experience , beautiful routes and breathtaking views . We will be back guys ….

We were a group of 4 couples of varying cycling ability - some on e-bikes. The trip was perfect. Enough cycling, fantastic hotels and restaurants that really reflected the spirit of Catalan. This is the most wonderful way to see Catalan. I would highly recommend this trip. Mark and Shelley were amazing. We will be back!!!

Mark and Shelly run the most fantastic tours- our 5day/6night touring experience was brilliant- hand picked hotels run by the most fabulous hosts- special mention of Roy and Goretti at La Rectoria- superb recommendations on coffee stops, sights and little restaurant gems. Don’t hesitate- you will not regret it! Thanks Cycle Catalan- we’ll be back.

This is one of the best ways to get a taste of all elements of the Catalan Countryside and Coast. We went on a self guided trip and from start to finish this has been a 5 star, top class, quality service from Mark & Shelley. Picked up in a lovely new VW van, provided with excellent bikes and all of the spares, tools and equipment you need should you run into difficulty. Even at that, you are safe in the knowledge that Mark & Shelley are only a phone call away. The app is very good and the routes were awesome with some really good stop off points for Wineries, Food sampling and Museums.
Mark & Shelley were superb hosts and are such naturally nice, genuine friendly people. We had a lovely couple of drinks with them on the last day which was like sitting with 2 old friends. Their resilience to have stuck with the business after starting it up just before the Covid pandemic is a testament to their determination. We wish them all the best in the future and hope that the business flourishes for them in the years to come.

I absolutely loved everything about my 10 day vacation, organized by Mark and Shelly....the hikes were amazing, the hotels were very comfortable and the (included) breakfasts were delicious with something for all tastes..But best of all was Mark and Shelly...its always nice to work with a family owned business and Cycle Catalan is no exception....they picked us up, delivered us and recommended ways to enhance our trip. And the app that guides you through the hikes was really helpful to someone like me who gets lost at every turn. Muchas Gracias

Four couples rode the five day ‘Mountain to Sea’ tour through beautiful scenery, stopping at lovely refuelling spots and superb accommodation ending on the Costa Brava at Palamos. Bikes were great, help at hand from Mark (Catalan Cycles), but not necessary. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. I would definitely use Catalan Cycles again.

Fantastic trip. We just returned from the "Mountains to Sea" cycle trip and had an absolutely great trip. Mark and Shelly went out of the their way to make sure everything went smooth. We added a few days at the end of our trip and they accommodated all of our requests which made our trip even better. 90+% of the riding was on very well maintained trails with no cars. Navigation App worked great. Accommodations were super and the meals at La Rectoria were outstanding. This is our second bike trip with Cycle Catalan and we will be back for more.
