We hired two road bikes for 5 days in Girona. Pick up was fast and easy, pricing very competitive and bikes were great quality. We returned the following day for some basic maintenance, which was sorted quickly by a friendly member of staff. Similarly the drop off couldn’t have been easier. No paperwork to sign, offers for extras or unnecessary delays. Great service.
The courtyard outside Eat sleep cycle is also a great place for a post ride beer and a chat with other riders. All in all a very good experience. We’ll definitely hire from here again.

I recently hired road bikes for 4 days after finally getting out to Girona after various Covid cancellations.
All date moves were handled well, and once in Girona the bikes were great, staff friendly, and I even got a refund on some unused CO2 cartridges. Shop is also stocked with great bikes to wet your appetite.
The Cafe is also superb - good coffee, beers, and food. Great place to relax post ride.

Friendly outstanding service !
Upon arrival my rental bike was ready to go. Unfortunately the size was a bit small - my fault - in a blink of an eye the bike was swapped for even a better equiped model in my size without extra charge. The focus bike was in mij condition and throughtout my rides is worked perfect! The Lazy Lunes group ride is an excellent way to Kick-off and meet new friends.

Great bike shop, cafe, cycling hub with new brilliant (and reasonably priced) cafe for all your cycling pre and post ride needs. Been to Girona twice in two months...the exceptional service from Chris, Cristina and Mike each time have made our trips even better than they would otherwise be. Can't wait to head back to Girona and ESS. Alex

Friendly staff in general. After the first day I had a big mechanical problem with the bike. It was fixed very quickly in the shop which is very nice, but they wanted to charge me for it even though the problem hadn’t been my fault. A bit sad because I payed enough for a bike to be in perfect condition. The next days on the bike were very good. When I returned my bike to the shop one member of the staff came running after me telling me that I didn’t give back the little bike pump. It wasn’t included when I collected the bike so I guess the bike + equipment wasn’t properly checked before they rented it out to me. Should be checked better before assuming I stole it.

My experience of all aspects of ESC service was entirely positive. Pre-tour day ride with Zippy was perfect. Bravissimo Apartments (recommended by Menno) were a great place to stay. Accommodation at Hotel Carlemany for the tour was very comfortable and in particular it was good to have access to their bike storage facilities. The tour itself was excellent. The daily ride lengths were set at just the right level and Knut was an excellent guide/ride companion. I stayed in Girona after the tour and used the bike hire services which Christina efficiently arranged for me. Just a great organistion and I will definitely be going on another of their tours.

I bought a road bike from Eat Sleep Cycle but before doing so I messaged and spoke at length with staff...Chris...to ensure that I was getting the right bike and to allay any fears of purchasing a bike being sold in Spain as I reside in the UK.
All my questions were answered and I was convinced that it was safe to have the bike purchased then sent to me.
Attentive, professional and friendly advice and assistance and was more than happy to commit my pennies to them.
Recommended!

Enthusiastic team. Technically very good. Our party of 5 could not all get bikes in the right size from one shop. The other shop had not done the stem bolts up on one bike and disc brakes had not traction on another. I am very confident that that would never happen with the Eat Sleep Cycle team. I hired their top end Basso Diamante. What a bike! Best I've ever ridden. Had 3 wonderful days around Girona. Thank you!

I travelled to Girona in November and took part in Eat Sleep Cycle's Anniversary Ride to Mare de Deu del Mont. This was a super experience, I rented a bike from ESC, met lovely people and joined other rides in Girona as a result of this ride. I dealt directly with Cristina and Lee and they were super to deal with. I would definitely recommend ESC, their fab cafe, shop and rentals. Everyone was very welcoming and excellent to deal with - I will definitely be back!...

I hired a Factor road bike from these guys for a week in Girona. The bike performed just as I had hoped with no mechanical issues whatsoever. It came with a couple of bottle holders, a pump and spare inner tube etc. the guys and gals were friendly and great to deal with

Thanks for your question! You can see photos of the bikes on our website - the Keram is a heavier bike with a more powerful battery, the Tempo is a lighter-weight, pedal-assist e-bike. I hope that helps!
