We were walking through Born neighborhood when we saw this little bar. It looked very nice from outside so we decided to go in! The staff is very friendly, the music is very good and the cocktails were delicious!

Perfect place for a pre-dinner cocktail. Great cocktails and really nice staff. And close to many good restaurants. Would recommend it after dinner as well ;)

Spent last weekend in Barcelona, and stumble across this funky bar waking in El Born area..it was great. Fun, good music, super friendly staff and excellent cocktails. Casual place for drinks and have a good conversation. We were supposed to have a quick drink and keep on moving and spent to whole night there ! Thanks guys for a great evening !

Visited Porteno cocktail bar in Barcelona last night and at first very welcoming staff. When choosing our drinks they said the special cocktail was €16 so we decided on moijto , 2 G&T’s , small beer and then 2 small bottles of water ... When it came to paying the bill it was €59 after questioning this and a few excuses they came back a little reduced and when we challenged this they came back as €32... The bald guy who said he was the owner was rude, aggressive in manor and obviously knew his plan to try and rip off 4 ladies had failed . We have found Barcelona to be a fantastic city and all the bars and restaurants we have visited so far have been so reasonable. This minor incident certainly did not spoil our otherwise fantastic evening .

Go here for drinks. They are great. Have some food but didn't try it since the drinks were so good. Potential of being touristy and the drinks I cannot say if they are expensive or not. Much cheaper than Stockholm or London. A basic drink was around 6-7€.

My Wife and I visited this little bar on our way out one night for a quick drink. 2 hours later we left very satisfied and merry , one of the best Mojitos I have ever tasted.

Owner Miguel takes pride in making all drinks from scratch with unique and all fresh ingredients! Makes a delicious sangria with muddled fruit including strawberries. Great place for personal attention and very friendly, English speaking! Try the empanadas...one of the best and homemade!

Great little bar with a top notch bartender in the Borne section of Barcelona. My boyfriend and I each had a Porn Star Martini which had a perfect zesty taste. Our bartender gave us each a shot of X-rated fusion liquor to go with our drink. The vibe was great and the drinks were made perfectly so we had a second Porn Star Martini.

Porteño is the perfect bar to enjoy a few drinks during week nights or weekends before clubbing. It’s a small bar with friendly staff, upbeat / electronic music and always good vibes. I usually go simple for beer or wine, except when I’m at Porteño. The cocktails are great (As good as or better than some 5 star hotel roof tops in Barcelona / but reasonable pricing). I recommend the espresso martini. It’s the best I ever had. Or the watermelon martini / refreshing in the summer. Also important, there is always a good mix of locals and tourists. The location is perfect with plenty of restaurants and terraces around and walking distance to street Laietana to grab a taxi / metro. I had many fun nights there and can highly recommend!

The security guy was very agresive because locals were complaining. A waiter, a bold guy, came and harassed us saying he was going to break our head. Do 't recommed at all.
