Visit this off-the-beaten-path Antoni Gaudí home on a self-guided tour of Casa Vicens. While less visited than some of Gaudí’s other Barcelona masterpieces—such as the Sagrada Familia and Park Guell—touring this historic house provides a deeper insight into the acclaimed architect. Plus, unlike Gaudí’s more crowded attractions, you can take unobscured photos of the building's unique architecture without hoards of people getting in the way.

I bought 3 items and I wish that I bought more. Well made and beautiful. I hope that they will sell online soon because I would love to purchase additional items as well as gifts for friends. I will definitely return when my travels take me back to Barcelona.

I was so happy to find this little shop as I was hunting for small and unique treasures to take home to Australia which could be used everyday. It was hard to pass up the larger pieces and if I didn't have five weeks of traveling ahead, I would have set aside some clothes to make room. Well worth looking for.

Blue Pottery has handpainted pieces from Poland in the cutest patterns in blue and green colours. But the pieces I found the most interesting was the onces made by the owner of the shop. He was there on the day I visited and he was good at explaining about his work and also give space and time to think. He experiments with different kinds of clay that gives different textures and expressions. He makes jewleries, cups, plates, bawls ect. He has made everything on the wheel which meens that not two cups has the exact same shape (I find that very charming). For many of his works he has used a technique that makes the glaze crystalize. I went to queit a few other ceramic shops, but this one had the most "soul" and the most unique and local ceramics.

There is a great selection of beautiful pottery here. Everything is done by hand and the quality is very high. Many patterns and colors to choose from. The owner crochets beautiful things that are also for sale in her shop. The prices are almost too good to believe.

Not easy to find; but the handcrafts are really beautiful and kind of artistic. Prices are pretty fair and suitable for a good souvenir for your loved ones.
