Neighborhood: El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.

Nagyszerű volt biciklivel bejárni a várost a jól kiépített biciklis utak miatt. A Rabbit Bike kiváló áron biztosít csepel bicikliket egész napra, ár-érték arányban a legjobb választás mindenképp! :)

It was great to tour the city on bike because of the well-built up bike routes. The Rabbit Bike provides 'csepel' bikes on excellent price for whole day, this is the best choice! It was nice surprise to meet up a Hungarian shop keeper so we could arrange our rental in our own language. Angéla was very helpful and kind, she gave us many hints where to eat and which way to go by bike as well. Thank you very much once more, it was a super experience! :)

It is really a nice place to rent a great bike - on the best price :) ! I can only recommend this place! So many overpriced bike rentals in Barcelona, and the quality of the bike is not even good, staff is not nice... here it is the opposite :) Just go for it ;)

There were 4 of us that hired bikes for the day for 6 euros each and the bikes were excellent. Very easy to ride and really great fun seeing Barcelona on 2 wheels. Very helpful staff and overall excellent value.

My daughter and I rented bikes (which came w locks and baskets) to ride around Parc de la Ciutadella, La Barceloneta, and Port Olimpic. We rode down the bike path along the beaches, stopping for lunch. We never would have done this on foot. Such a fun afternoon. Angela, the proprietor was incredibly warm and helpful. Highly recommend.

We have traveled all over Europe, Thailand, Mexico, the Virgin Islands and the US and I have to say this was the worst experience I have had with a business. I usually won't right a bad review but this literally was a waste of a day in Barcelona. My husband and I rented two bikes from the Calle del Poeta Cabanyes location as they were given to us as a reference from our Airbnb host. The bikes looked worn and damaged so we were a little skeptical when we saw them. We road the bikes in the bike lanes all the way to the beach and headed to the Olympic area (again on all the bike paths)! The bike road rough the entire time and made noises. We get to the end of the beach area and I look down to find my rear tire is flat. We walked around for about 20 minutes until we found a sport store called Decathalon. They looked at the tire and stated the stem was not working so they could not even put air in it. We had to buy an entire new tube that cost us 8.5 euro. (Which was more then the 6 euro to rent the bike). After waiting an hour for the bike to be fixed, we headed back to the Poblesec area to return the bike. 1/2 way back the rear tire went flat again. It appears there is a problem with a spoke or the rim that keeps popping the tube. We walked our bikes back for the last 45 minutes and returned the bike. We had only had the bikes for less than 5 hours total. My husband asked if we could get one free bike rental for the next day to compensate us for the bad bike (as he as willing to rent from them again, just hoping it was one really bad bike). We never asked for our money back or for the cost to replace the first tube that popped. The staff member called the owners wife and she refused to let us have a bike for the next day (which we would have still rented and paid for one more bike). She said we could keep renting a bike for 24 hours instead of just for the day. #1) We have plans this evening at a show so it is not like we can ride around town and #2)!Why on earth would I want to ride a bike at night and get stranded somewhere. They never offered to compensate us for the bad bike or the tire tube we paid for nor were willing to compensate us for a new bike the next day since it ruined our current day activities. That is just BAD business and I would not recommend this company at all. Plus our Airbnb host and future guests staying at our location will also be notified.

I am really sorry that your experience was so confusing. Bikes sometimes get flat tyres. On the day you rented bikes we had more than 60 bikes rented out and didn’t have any other flat tyres, so I guess it was bad luck. Before the rental agreement we clearly show the conditions of rental written on the wall, plus explain all of the conditions, and there you can see how much we charge in the case of a flat tyre, a lost key or a lost bike. Since you fixed the bikes at a different workshop I can´t be responsible for their work, it could be just bad luck to get a flat tyre again or simply it wasn´t fixed correctly, that I cannot know. This incident happened two days ago, and both bikes were rented out again twice and there has been no flat tyres. We changed the inner tube which had a spike in it, had nothing to do with the spoke (in that case it would get flat in a few min). I offered you the most I could considering that we charge you the same for the whole day as most the bike rentals are charging you for 2 hours. Our bikes were fully booked for the next day (we are in high season!) so we offered you the best we could. If you thought that the bikes were in a bad condition you could have come back straight away and we would change them for you or fix them on the spot, but you seemed to be happy with them and only told us that they were in bad conditions when I did not respond to your offer of blackmailing us with a hard review. I understand that travelling can be exhausting, especially in a crowded and hot city like Barcelona. Concerning the difficult bikepaths I believe you can leave a review of that with the Barcelona ajuntamiento. Angela, the owner (not the owner’s wife)

We used Rabbit Bike as they were directly opposite our air bnb. We went early to ensure we could select a bike we wanted (although I believe you can reserve them the day before?) it cost €6 to have them until 8pm which really was value for money. We selected a bike with a basket (no gears, you are supplied with a bike lock) and really enjoyed exploring Barcelona by bike. Great service.

For only 6 euros you'll get a bike for the whole day. The service was super competent and friendly. I can highly recommend this place to rent a bike.

We were recommended by friends to hire bikes and cycle around Barcelona as a way of seeing the city. Dubious to begin with, we considered half a day - only to then discover that it was SUCH a good idea! Rabbit Bikes was central and easy to find, the cheapest we'd seen, the bikes were in amazing condition and the owner was unbelievably helpful with recommendations for things to see and do and so flexible when we then wanted to hire the bikes for longer! Barcelona is really geared towards cyclists with lots of roads having specific cycle lanes (with bike traffic lights!!), and bike parks everywhere to lock up. If you're on a short stay in Barcelona I would definitely recommend hiring bikes and the ones from Rabbit Bike were particularly excellent!

Friendly staff, great bikes and very competitive rates!
All the accessories were included in the price, 6 euros for half a day!
You can even rent the bikes overnight, what we did to have them ready at the departure of Barcelona Marathon in the morning, we followed all the runners across the city and the next to the sea! Beautiful tour thanks to Rabbit Bike!

Great location, friendly helpful people, can't beat the price. For just a 6 euro you get to enjoy a lot more of the city and a chance to feel like a local.
