About
Responsible Tourism - Authentic - With The Eyes Of The Locals Bounce Around Barcelona is a private initiative for making vacation more colorful and spicy. We do private unique tours under the flag of responsible tourism. Our principle is to show the city to the guests in a different way: small groups visiting several spots in the Barcelona Magic City that normally are hidden from the eyes of the tourists, to feel the city as we feel, to see the districts with the eyes of the locals.

Kris and Timi are the modern face of Barcelona tourism, superseding the traditional, and somewhat staid, offerings you can find elsewhere. We took them up on a half day bike tour and despite it being a late booking over the Xmas period, which meant we were the only customers on that day, they ‘pulled out the stops’ to give us a 4 ½ hour tour that was both fun and informative.
We kicked off with a sit-down overview of the history of Barcelona (using maps and archive photos that I found to be eye-opening, before embarking on the bike tour itself. Kris and Timi work brilliantly as a team to provide an amusing tour, laced with pop culture references (a connection, albeit tenuous, between La Sagrida Familia and Star Wars), contemporary commentary and opinion (the current state of the Catalan independence movement), and advice (where not to eat), all without sacrificing historical accuracy. If you’re going to Barcelona I’d highly recommend booking this, or one of their other offerings.

We loved the day we spent with Kris and Timi, which was our last full day in Barcelona. Kris's enthusiasm for his adopted city was infectious and he and Timi play well off of each other. We mapped out a custom tour at the start of the day that let us hit some of the parts of the city that we hadn't seen yet and even in the couple of cases where we saw things for a second time (like Sagrada Familia), Kris and Timi added additional insight and context that had been missing from our "official" tour. I was particularly struck by how they connected with each of the five members of our family on the level at which we were each experienced Barcelona and add something to our understanding of the city. Can't recommend BAB highly enough!

BAB tours are a unique experience, worth every penny, they are your own hand-woven stories made by Krisz with love. Krisz gave us so much insider info about Barcelona and tips for the rest of our trip. He got us to places we would have never discovered on our own. Its a superfun tour with a lot of jokes and laughs, dont miss on this experience. :)
================
Ne hagyd ki a BAB túráit ha Barcelonaba érkezel, Krisz elvisz, megmutat, elmesél minden fasza helyet! Egy igazi energiabomba, szóval unatkozni nem fogsz. Bevisz helyekre amiről amúgy nem is hallanál. A felejthetetlen túrán túl még kb 3 Barcelonai utazásra elég tippet kaptunk. Atomkirály élmény!

Even though I lived in Barcelona for a while and visited the city several times, I never saw and knew this much about the city's hidden treasures in a day than I did with Chris during our bike tour. I went with my husband. I always like to discover a city in an alternative way, do and eat things that locals do, without the touristy, readymade and usually quite boring sightseeing tours. Turned out that this was just the perfect choice! We started with a coffee & 'brainstorming' where Chris told us about the city's history and intriguing details and stories with old pictures, a huge map on which he drew all over, and lots of questions to keep us involved and try to compete with each other to see who will score the most points by the end of the day. But even without the game, his unique and utterly funny storytelling and whole charisma just instantly sparked our interests. After that we hopped on the bikes he gave us and started our tour around the city, visiting the most important sights (btw we got a say in what we want to see during the brainstorming, so it's a completely personalized tour). He was also very conscious about our safety and explained the rules of riding safely in BCN, while constantly checking on us and not leaving us behind. We had approx 7-8 stops but we constantly got exciting new infos and stories in between stops too, as we passed by something. The tour also had a treasure hunt feeling because we needed to keep looking for hidden hints and gems around the city. We also stopped to eat and have a drink, in places that are 100% local, one of the tapas bars didn't even have a sign out front, so we definitely wouldn't have found it by ourselves or in Google.
I could go on about how great this experience was, but instead, give it a try and you'll see yourselves! It's obvious that for Chris it's not a job, but a mindset and a way of life, that's what makes his tours so unique, fun, informative and completely personalized.

Rarely these days do I find someone with his heart 100% invested in their chosen job... Krisz is one of those fortunate people who has chosen to live the dream of doing what he always wanted to do: surrounded by people in his favourite city, Barcelona.
He's exactly that type of charming tourist-whisperer, who immediately creates a friendly atmosphere, and shares all his knowledge of this magical place.
If you're interested in dry facts, he's not your person, Google is.
BUT!
If you're willing to step out of your comfort zone and immerse in a special adventure, then sit on a bike and float around on the magical streets of Barcelona with Krisz.
The tour's called "Be a local for one day"... cause as a tourist, you'll feel there like you just arrived HOME.

I would make these tours compulsory if someone visits Barcelona. It was such a fantastic journey! Krisz was really flexible so we could have a perfectly well organized day on bike and on foot, too. He showed us all the hidden gems and secret stories about the city so by the end of the tours we felt like real locals. The way how he told all these stories just made us fall in love even more with the city. Thanks Krisz for being so cool!😎

It was an absolutely fun way of sightseeing, recommended to anyone who prefers to see the city and its miracles while cycling.
Krisz knows all the best places by heart and moreover he told us the history of Barcelona in a really fun and interesting way that was quite impressive. It wasn’t like an ordinary story that you usually hear in a regular sightseeing tour. The stories he explained made us listen the whole time!
Cycling around Barcelona is so easy thanks to the great bike lanes.
I would definitely go for another tour :)

My girlfriend and I traveled to Barcelona for five days. We booked a half-day sightseeing tour for Krisztián. First, he presented the map of the city of Barcelona in detail, and we also learned a pretty detailed history lesson from him. Then he explained the routes of the tour. The previous day, my girlfriend and I had already visited quite a few places in the city center, so I listed these for Krisztián, who changed the itineraries accordingly. We then hopped on a bike and at each stop he also said interesting things about th dee attractions. Krisztián took care of us not to dry out, so we stopped by and drank vermouth and beer in cozy little bars between the attractions. At the end of the day, we became richer with a lot of information an d experiences and I can say that we had great experiences. Krisztián was very kind and helpful and at the end of the tour he even gave us advices for the rest of our staying. Furthermore he took some very good pictures of us. I can only recommend him to everyone.

My husband and I did a half day bike tour with one food stop and it was one of the best parts of our week in Barcelona. Kris and Timi are a great team and made us feel so welcomed. We felt like friends instantly. Our tour was very informative and fun! Oh and the food stop was so delicious. Our tour was well worth the time and money and we would do another tour with them in a heart beat. If you are looking for an informative and personal tour of Barcelona, look no farther, Bounce Around Barcelona delivers just that.

We had a truly amazing day with Krisztian!
I loved the way he first explained how the city was built up through the centuries and shared a lot about the different neighbourhoods. As we were moving around the city we could connect back to what he explained. You can see his love and passion for Barcelona. The find and egg, flag or dragon game made it even more fun.
Biking in the city is convenient and safe, despite the hills looking scary at first it was pretty much effortless.
It was the best possible start of our holiday.

Dear Jezgould!
Absolutely!
We had many tours with families with young kids.
We play games, hunting dragons, counting flags...with these the tour is very enjoyable for kids and parents as well because we are mixing with historical background and the interesting stories about the city.
Please search for our web page and write us a mail with the details (dates, available days, heights of the kids, size of bike they use...)
See you on our super hero tours! :)

május 30.án szeretnénk megnézni Barszelónát, lehetőleg magyar idegenvezezéssel, akár csoporthoz csatlakozva, belépő a Sagrada Familiaba, Güel parkba, Hajóval érkezünk, jó lenne a kikötőből csatlakozni. 10 óra és 16 között lenne jó. Árajanlatot, lehetőségeket kérek, köszönöm!

Hey Debi!
Thanks for being interested in us! :)
The length of the tours is always different. Sometimes we just cruising around we we ride 5-7 km in 3 hours, searching for some local bars to eat and drink something. But we have also long circles like 15-20 km in 1 day, visiting almost all the important spots of the city.
These tours are tailor made so everything depends on you. We always have a short discussion before we start about the locations that we want to visit, we need to see, we need to taste.
Relaxing. Amusing. Dont worry :)
We hope we see you soon!
Kris
