A must see for all ages!
Mar 2016 • Family
Whether young or old, a must see for train and miniature enthusiasts of all ages. A brilliant display of trains and the city of Barcelona in miniature. Extraordinary detail and operation through computer technology. Be sure to watch the technicians and modelers at work in the maintenance area. See the scale models of classic trains and the children's ride. The exhibit continues to expand to eventually include thirty thousand square feet.

A second visit to this wonderful miniature world
Nov 2015 • Couples
We first visited Scopic Miniature in July. We were back in the city in November and another visit was on the top of our list. It is a work in progress and there is more to see this time than our last visit. They are replicating various areas of Barcelona. Once again there were many trains on the move and moving cars and traffic on the roads. The exhibit has grown bigger since we were last there. Work is on going. We would advise that you visit in the morning. Afternoons between at least 2 pm and 4 pm are quiet times in Spain and Catalonia and staff could be on a break. Whilst we were there it was interesting to see a grandfather with his grandson who was just a toddler. They were both having such fun!! Go for a visit - even if you are not interested in trains. The miniature models of the city are skilfully and accurately done and staff are there to speak to. Most speak English. It is well worth seeing. We will go again!!

Fantastic miniature world....
Aug 2015 • Family
We visited scopic at short notice because it was close to our hotel and we needed to keep the kids entertained for a couple of hours.

Wow......what a great place. Lovely staff, amazing miniature scenes of Barcelona (we looked round them twice) and a great miniature railway for the kids to ride on.

We also had some lovely cake in the little cafe..

Would highly recommend

Wonderful new model railway exhibit - a lucky find!!
Jul 2015
We were on our way down Calle Tarragona and just found this by accident. We are so happy that we did! It is a new model train exhibit of Barcelona and is a work in progress. You go down stairs to see the trains and they have 5000 square metres of space. Modellers are working to make the exhibits and others are erecting them. They have finished the Sants station area and it's so interesting to see it in miniature. We were staying in the Torre Catalunyia which is just around the corner. There it was in miniature and also showing the trains running underneath it. Fascinating!! Other areas of the city are also finished and there are roads with moving traffic as well as trains! It has a period of "night time" when the lights dim and the street lights and train lights come on. It is all very accurate. We talked to various of the staff in English and they are all pleasant and informative. I think that it is a dream job for most of them. We highly recommend a visit to see this truly fascinating exhibit. We are planning to return to Barcelona in October to see how work has progressed.

On the ground floor there is a bar selling food and drinks. There is a small train for children's rides which looks great fun for little ones. Also a shop selling books and so on to do with trains.

Good expectation...
Jun 2015 • Friends
Good feeling in my first visit. We are talking about a new entertainment in Barcelona with a lot of possibilities and of course with a lot of time to improve each day with new services and attractions. I put all my expectations on this new young company with a lot of talent and I know that they will not disappoint.

What a fun find!
Apr 2015 • Family
We stumbled upon Scopic during a quick visit to Barcelona with our three small boys. We were surprised and pleased to find a space designed with small children in mind. After walking the city, it was nice to have a clean, inviting space to let them roam and play! The train ride was fun for the boys (and me too!), and the play corner with art supplies and train construction sets kept our boys busy for an hour. The model of the city was fascinating to look at, and placed far enough away from the kid zone that I didn't have to worry about my boys breaking anything. I'm so glad we found Scopic! Our boys have great memories of that day.
