The area

Address
Neighborhood: Barceloneta
Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away, Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed sand structures making this the most visited beach in the city (the shirtless men working out might help too). You’ll know by the delicious aroma that you're in the right place to try some of the best and most authentic seafood including paella, Spain’s national dish.

Premise:
Pre-sales are taken directly on the site which cost half the price and you have the same services. Do not take them from the PRs on the beach for any reason.

Premise 2:
If you enter the nightclub between 01:00 and 02:30 there will be a terrifying queue. So either try to skip it with the phone excuse or come in before/after this time.

Music:
The Pacha facility is good. I'd say a super full 8 out of 10. The bass can be heard well and the treble doesn't fire too much. There are more rooms and usually compared to the other nightclubs in Barceloneta, Pacha is the one with the best music selection.

People:
Pacha in Barcelona gets 2 stars out of five because it is always too crowded. You can't breathe inside and you can't move. Approaching a girl is unthinkable. You can't even dance, you can at most swing back and forth but moving is really difficult.
Furthermore, the outdoor area doesn't exist, if you want to go out and breathe the bouncers will literally throw you out onto the beach with a stamp to return, but you're in the midst of Bangladeshis trying to sell you cigarettes and sandwiches.

Alcohol:
Good drinks, but very very expensive. A shot of Jagermeister costs 8 euros.

Great venue, quite expensive but the part that bothered me the most was the security team not letting us leave through the front door. As they continued to overflow the club with people. They told us to push through the crowed to find an exit that was not clear. End point was didn't seem safe the way they operate the club.

For a bachelorette party, we took a table in this establishment.
The staff is efficient but the place is dirty and poorly maintained.
There are 8 of us but seated on a bench seat for 3 people.
The DJs did a good job but the whole thing remains too tight.

As we did not want to stand in the long line we deciced to take a table inside with a minimum spend of €600 (3 people). It is amazing how badly they treat you after they take your money. Staff inside is very rude, not friendly at all. Multiple times they tried to make us pay for drinks while our €600 minimum spend (which we paid in advance) was not even reached yet. The VIP area doesn't have it's own bathroom, so you need to walk trough the crowd which is a journey on itself. The club itself is too busy and overpriced. Overall this is just a terrible, overrated club. Don't get fooled by the long line outside, it's not worth it. I would recommend smaller clubs in Barcelona, but if you want one of the bigger clubs in this area I would recommend Shoko in which we had a far better experience.

Too big queue, a lot of confusion on the part of the staff.
The capacity of the site is less than the number of people to whom the ticket has been sold.
The waitress literally ignored the people in line for the drink and only served those who had the privilege.

It was the worst international experience in a nightclub, in fact the concept of a nightclub doesn't even exist. There is a lack of control in terms of entrances and capacity. There is no space to dance, you can't drink without spilling your drink, much less walk inside, it's literally impossible, we had 30 minutes trying to get out after entering. The staff is very lazy and rude. It was basically a waste of money and a waste of time! Not recommended!

This place is a total hazard and needs to be looked into by health and safety asap

Why?

They overfill the venue, obviously more people more money but you can not move in there. It is a disaster waiting happen. I just hope no one gets seriously hurt or worse. Upon entering, to navigate the room, you have to walk through what felt like sweaty sardines. People pushing, drinks spilling. You actually can't dance.
Security are not there to help if someone has come out with friends but has an injury. For this reason, this club is certainly not accessibility friendly despite having a chair lift which would be near enough impossible to use anyway.
Oh by the way €10 for a small water bottle. Day light robbery. Water should be free, from a filter even.

Drinks are served with glasses. There is broken glass all over the floor. Absolute hazard. Why on earth are they wasting so much and why is it not being picked up. Again if a fight breaks out, you know that is the easiest thing to pick up from the floor.

When you buy tickets, we were told there were 3 rooms. We saw 1 room only.

Absolutely ridiculous. Let people know what a club needs to be like, space, atmosphere and safety.

One positive about this place is the DJ was amazing on Friday when we were there.

Worst disco I've ever gone to. The red room (which was supposed to be the one with the most decent music) is tiny and you can't breathe. In the other room the music always seemed the same. In addition, my friends and I were on the free list, but due to the disorganization we had to pay 20 euros WITHOUT DRINK.

Do not waste your money going here!
They don’t let everyone in, bouncers don’t give a toss and choose to resort to physical force to manage certain situations. They will take your ID off you too so beware! But if you are mad enough to go in - the drinks are very expensive and lots of pickpockets in there so watch out! Management - this isn’t how you run a club! pon tus cosas en orden!

Bad place, the guards beat us at the exit with access to the beach. As we passed them, the guards and their friends laughed at us and passed them, seeing no need to conflict. We were sitting and some friends of the guards threw a glass bottle at us and then they came and punched us in the face, for no reason. My friend has a broken nose. I do not recommend, slow and unpleasant service, and staff that sticks to customers what I consider not to be good advertising for the place but well everyone has their marketing techniques.
