I do recommend to any visitor new to the city to take the tour, besides that stops at the main places it gives you a very good idea of the beautiful Barcelona and shows you which places to visit later.

Used the hop on hop off facility on day 1 of visit. This is really the only way to see any city. The price for what you get is just amazing. They visit enough attractions and if you use your earphones you really do get a good idea of the city and surrounds. I loved my bus trip and would... More

We arrived in Barcelona on a short stay and took the bus trip on our first afternoon. It helped get a sense of what was where and helped us decide what to spend more time on. The audio guide is informative

My wife and I paid 28 euro each for one-day tickets. We know the concept, we have taken similar tourist bus rides in several other cities. The success relies on the quality of the audio guide and of course the areas the bus travels through. After spending a couple of hours taking both the blue and the red routes, we... More

Helpfull staff give you earphones when you board the bus and you can select your language at your seat when you start your tour. We got around Barcelona without having to use any other transport as we were very centrally based near placa... More

This is the biggest of the bus tour companies and it has quite a coverage, with two long routes roughly East and West of the city, and a marina end going down to the new financial district. Being popular, it might be worth thinking about where and when to pick up this service, like starting first thing in the morning,... More

Only the right headphone worked so I got a new one and after few minutes it happened again, even though I tried to turn it like I could, I got 4 new headphones..... More

Poor management of seating on bus. Don't get caught up sitting downstairs , you wont see a thing. Made it frustrating not being able to see all sites whilst on the tour.

I liked the way that the ticket seller was at the bus stop, so no hold ups on the bus. Also we were told how many free seats there where up stairs (there were 7 of us) to save time. It was well organised have two sets of stairs, one to go up and another to descend. Headsets and info... More

Neighborhood Profile
Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighborhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
