Fantastic way to see the whole of Barcelona. Well worth the money!!! You can hop on and hop off at any stop you like. We did the 2 day pass for all five of us and I have to say it was fantastic, busses every 5 minutes so you never have to wait at a stop for long. Also audio... More

We were staying at a small hotel in Plaza Catalunya and the Turistic booth was right there! Great location to get on - and they offered three different routes. Did them all and loved them all. Some we redid in order to go back to some places. Would absolutely do it again. Only one problem was that a couple of... More

I'm very upset at the treatment I received on this tour by two of the guides. I was getting on at blue line at the Sagrada Familia when the male guide asked me to throw out my cup of tea. I did and came back to go on the bus. The women guide at the bus (as I was going... More

Bought the tickets at a news stand, man very helpful and spoke English, waited over 30 minutes for the bus to arrive. All the stops had long queues to get on. The stops are manned by very nice staff who manage the entry and exit of the buses very well. The ear pieces are not the best and the commentary... More

Small discount if you book through your hotel, more discount if you are a 'senior'. We went for the 2 day pass which worked out at 30 euros each (seniors) and gave access to all routes, Blue goes North, Red South, Green beaches. Cheap headsets and running commentary with muzac in between. Hop on Hop Off with buses every 10... More

Crappy audio, cursory information about the places of interest, annoying music playing in between sights, painfully uncomfortable earbuds, and REALLY slow going. NOT worth the money. Spend the same amount to hire a private driver for the day. Plus the amount of trash generated by the earbuds and baggies they come in is depressing. This tour blows.

I have visited Barcelona a few times and used bus turista before and been impressed. Not now though. First of all we booked online at a cost of more than €100 only to be told that when we got on the bus we had to go to the shop to get printed tickets! What is the point of buying online... More

What a waste of time and money. Having been in Barcelona last year and used the other hop on hop off bus, I thought this might be a good way to get an overview visiting with my mother for her first time in the city. On multiple occasions on this trip we had to wait over 30 minutes for multiple... More

Neighborhood Profile
Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighborhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night.
