Hop on hop off Barcelona is the best way to see the city. I would recommend to take one day ticket as you can cover all three routes that they offer in one day if you don't get down at every place. My suggestion is to take one day ticket from "Barcelona Bus Turistic" and one day ticket (on a... More

We bought tickets for 2 days and started on the Red Route - the service offers 3 Routes (Red, Blue and Green). The journey started and provided views of some Gaudi inspired buildings in the heart of the city before travelling miles and miles with very little to inspire or entertain you. After we had been on board for well... More

Faulty equipment and rude staff, as you can get on and off at will we were on a number of these buses, and all had faulty audio equipment, on one bus we got lucky first time with the audio, but every other time we had to move to find a working one, might have just been unlucky but I don't... More

By going on this bus, we were able to see much more of the city than we would have seen otherwise. Earphones are supplied and there is a choice of languages. The commentary was excellent. A bit chilly on the upper deck, but very enjoyable.

Having not been here before my girlfriend and myself felt this would be a good way of see the city and planning what to see when we get off. We had a ruff idea of what we planned to visit when we was in Barcelona after looking in books and on here, I wasn't to keen on doing the bus... More

We used the buses for most of the time we were in Barcelona as we felt it was the easiest way to get around. The staff are lovely and have badges which say on them the languages they speak fluently which was helpful. It was a nice way to travel around Barcelona and learn things about the city. The views... Love this tour, love the upgrade to the design however, the first trip round, my boyfriend and I were overeducated about Barcelona! (Excellent, what we wanted) and when we went around a second time the next day, some of the information wasn't played. We heard only 1/3 of the tour the second time which is a shame. Love this tour... More

This is the best way to help decide your route for the sites. We were fortunate the driver and conductress were helpful with local info, just ask. The commentary on the bus was interesting and informative regarding the sites and the history of Barcelona. We used this transport during our stay as they are very frequent and the stops numerous.

Because this is a hop-on-and-off bus, you have the freedom and flexibility to go where you want. Obviously it visits the majority of the tourist sites in Barcelona. I have been on a few of these in other cities and the thing that could be better about the Barcelona bus was that the level of detail and description on the... More

Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighborhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences.
