We loved every minute spent with Mariana and the knowledgeable representative from Alta Alella. From our pickup at the hotel, to our drop off at the marina, it was a first rate experience! Touring the winery, tasting the grapes, learning how Cava is crafted and then enjoying a sampling of the wine, made the morning so special. This was definitely a highlight from our trip to Barcelona! I would recommend Winenium and Mariana to anyone planning a visit to this amazing city.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Mariana and Winenium. We "interviewed" several wine tour guides (via email) and Mariana was the only one willing to custom design a tour for our specific requests. She hit all the marks we asked for and provided us with a first-class experience.
We wanted boutique wineries and personalized tours, which is exactly what Mariana arranged. One of our tours was led by the winemaker herself! Fabulous.
Mariana is beyond knowledgeable about wines and wineries but is not a "wine snob." Our day with Mariana and Winenium was truly the highlight of our four day holiday in Barcelona.
Our experience with Winenium was so outstanding, my company is considering hiring them to arrange a special event when we host a partners' meeting in Barca in the Fall. We cannot say enough good things about Mariana and Winenium. They are fantastic!

My wife and I had a great time and loved the vineyards we visited. Our guide was as knowledgeable as she was pleasant to spend the day with and the wines were so good that we took several bottles back with us. This is a perfect way to have a calm and luxurious tasting experience without traveling far. We will use this company again for future tours. Everything was wonderful!

Tony thanks for your kind review and description. The aim of a private tour is exactly that: wine tasting at your leisure, where you are the main guest. We stay away from large group tours, as we want each customer to experience as if they were visiting a friend’s home town, where you are shown the best spots and wineries we have great friendship with. See you when you come back to Barcelona.

This was such a great way for my husband and I to spend a day on our recent trip to Spain. We wanted to do something different on this visit to Barcelona, as we had already seen the usual sights on a previous trip. Mariana is knowledgeable and the perfect host, with lots of laughter in between visits to the amazing wine cellars. The tapas were mouth watering! It was a fantastic tour and we will always remember it. A definite "must" on your next trip to Catalonia. Don't miss it! Thank you Mariana!

The adventure we had with winenium was absolutely fantastic! We were on a family vacation and being from Florida, we love the water. So, we started the morning on a sail along the Med coast line. Mariana picked us up from our hotel and we headed to the marina. We sailed for about three hours. She brought food and beverages (yum) and the sailboat captain was very friendly. From there we headed up the mountain to the winery. We took a tour of the winery, learned how they make cava and their wines and then we had a wine tasting. Everything was perfect! Mariana was the best guide we could have asked for!

We had a fanstastic day with Mariana at Alta Alella. Mariana handled everything just perfect from the pickup at the hotel till we arrived back in Barcelona at the restaurant she recommended, Many laughs and very educational. I´m sure we will be back sometime.

This was the best day we had in Barcelona. A must to do.! Sailing and a wine tour. Doesn't get better than this. Marianna was an excellent host. Was like we were hanging with a friend all day. She is very knowledgable and worked very hard to make our day priceless!

Marianna picked us up for our wine eco bike tour and we loved her in the first 5 minutes!
The biking on eco bikes was magnificent thru the vineyards with Albert our tour guide
extraordinaire! Our next stop was a charming organic vineyard ... loved the tour and especially the wine. Then Marianna selected a quaint inn where we were greeted with our own personalized menu. The food and ambience were fabulous and the chef and his wife were unbelievably hospitable. We haven't stopped raving about our day!! Perfection!! Thank you Marianna!!!

WOW! This SEGWAY wine tour was the absolute highlight of our honeymoon in Barcelona, Spain! The day began with Mariana picking us up in a private SUV right outside of our hotel in central Barcelona and a quick 45 minute drive to Penedes wine region in Spain. When we arrived, the segways were right outside of the winery's front door step. I was amazed at the amount of training went into showing you how to ride a segway-we even did a trial run around the driveway before heading to the hills of the winery! My husband and I (and Mariana joined in too! =)) followed Peter (segway tour guide) around the wine hills in Penedes...truly an unforgettable site-GORGEOUS! We stopped often to get great pics and learn about the history of the region and the wines. When we finished, we got a tour of the winery and ended with a tasting and great finger foods. Mariana then drove us back to our hotel and dropped us off curbside-no muss, no fuss! It was the perfect day and Mariana is an EXCELLENT wine tour guide! She knows the area well and added to the excursion. We will absolutely be back to see her! Thank you Mariana!

Mariana and Beatriz are the best, they created a wonderful personalized tour for us. We went bike riding on e-bikes and had a wine tasting and tour at a vineyard. No detail was left out.
We also had lunch at an incredible catalan restaurant, with great wine!
I would definitely recommend them, they offer a top notch service!

Do you allow people to join other groups for a lower price? Would love to go on The sail and wine tour, but don't want to pay the higher price for 2 people.

Our customers don´t tend to like hopping on a bus and share their precious holiday time with people they don´t know. However, why don´t you explore other experiences we have at a price which may better suit your pocket. Do contact us with date alternatives and we will certainly come up with a proposal for an unforgettable wine tasting whilst yous stay in Barcelona.

Hello Yuqi, We have several tours and range from a wine tasting around the corner from Barcelona, to other longer experiences mixing gastronomy, fun activities like Segway or electric bikes, etc. Our experiences are private and start from 2 people to whatever group size. Price ranges from 145€ per person to fair bit more. Do let us know what you would like to do, when and for how many; and in the meantime, check our Winenium website Regards!
