This super cocktail bar is tucked into the corner of a street (really an alley) at the north end of the La Rambla. Immediately on entering you get a great ambiance of a cheerful, enjoyable crowd being served up cocktails by a team of highly professional bartenders. A lot of the enjoyment comes from observing the bartenders in action and/or... More

I have visited this bar several times during my visits to Barcelona. It's just off the Ramblas and very central. You would never probably go in as from the outside does not look like somewhere worth visiting but does have the best traditional cocktails in town. It's a small bar but always popular and a MUST in town. The bar... More

This little gem is tucked away just off the chaos of La Rambla. We popped in for an afternoon cocktail to cool down and to ditch the crazy crowd steps from its front door. The bartender,Adal, could not have been better. His knowledge of cocktails, liquors, cocktail bars, is phenomenal. There is no menu. You either ask for something or... More

Was kept well entertained by the bartenders. It's a very small bar but lots going on, great for sitting back and watching all the crazy guests that come through the door.

Entering this tiny, wood lined, bar on Las Ramblas takes you back in time. The gentleman behind the bar is a true mixologist, who will make you a perfect cocktail. My husband and I stopped here this afternoon to check off another Hemingway drinking hole from our list and were beyond pleased with the cocktails he prepared perfectly for us.... More

It was just accasional, but we have found an excellent place, looks like from Marilyn Monroe times. We tried several of their traditional drinks and left the satisfied the place.

An old fashioned cocktail bar, with no menu, but the most talented cocktail makers! Old school pouring and shaking, makes for an enjoyable time! What these guys don't know about cocktail making, probably isn't worth knowing!

Was recommended to us by friends who just said we should pop in for a drink! What a surprise, no menus to choose drinks from just amazing bartenders who if you pick a drink ( vodka, rum etc ) will make you something on the spot! I opted for a White Russian ( my favourite) the bartender then poured what... More

Staying in La Rambla

Neighborhood Profile
La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-meter boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and appetizing selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.
