Tucked away on a back street. A tiny shop selling outrageously good sweeties. The shop is tiny, dark and a bit "odd" as there is not much on sale but...what they have. Wow! They give sweet making demos everyday. Check the shop for details. If you like excellent sweeties. Go there. Otherwise, don't. Naturally, the prices reflect the skill and... More

We didn't see the making of the candy, because we saw it on the Foodtv. I thought the candy would be bigger with the designs. A bit overpriced.

What a lovely surprise Papabubble turned out to be! My 10 year old was keen to find an authentic Catalonian sweet shop during our Barcelona visit and whilst Papabubble may not be exactly that it certainly went way beyond his expectations. They sell artisan made sweets from all natural ingredients and they actually taste like the thing they're supposed to... More

We came to this small candy shop somewhat skeptically based on the strong recommendation of a local. It's on a corner of Carrer Ample not far from the apartment where Pablo Picasso first lived in Barcelona (which is unfortunately not open to the public). This is certainly not a major attraction, but it is something you really don't see many... More

This is a boutique manufacturing hard candies live right in front of your eyes. The candies are made with natural ingredients. they offer you free tasting. There are flavors for all tastes, they even make sugar free candies. everything is tasty. for those with a sweet tooth you will be addicted.

Amazing place for candy lovers , a must stop in Barcelona with or without kids. Diversity of candies makes it hard to sum up what you want/need.

I visited Pappabubble on my own in May 2014** it was reasonably easy to find but it is quite small. Once inside I was advised the time that the guys would start with the candy preparation as they weren't ready to start another batch yet. I visited a nearby cafe and came back maybe 25 minutes later. It's free to... More

Take your time. We came too soon and waited fifty minutes until the actual work begun. The whole process is astounding. The chef tried a new penguin candy and it was almost perfect... But very delicious.

Thanks to Edgar for introducing us to this shop where I found a little piece of heaven and was able to bring heaven home with me to share. Everyone loved their souvenir handcrafted candies when I got home. It's a good thing I brought a big suitcase with me to Barcelona.

This place is great! The candy is made right in front our you and the variety of flavors is awesome. I have plenty of treats to take back home. I'm glad our friend Edgar introduced us to this local shop. Keep up the good work 😋

It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences.
