Lovely view of the city. Stunning architecture, lovely fountains. Well worth a visit, it's free after all. (Tip - walk around the back of the museum up the top and you will find the Barcelona Olympic stadium which you can also enter for free).
Placa espanya is one of the nicest squares in Barcelona.
The square is guarded by Arenas commercial center and the Venetian towers.
The roof of the Arenas is providing a nice view over the square and towards MNAC
and magic fountain.
Placa Espanya is Barcelona's largest plaza and the second largest in Spain. This Magnificent plaza features a fountain with a massive sculpture at its centerpiece and two Venetian towers which flank the plaza. Truly one of the iconic sites of Barcelona. Jolly Chriss.
